Our 4 year-old Golden friend, Cash, was born in August of 2020. A true pandemic pup, he grew up in a loving home but without the face-to-face contacts with other people and dogs he needed. We worked hard to socialize him. Although he’s great with people, he has continued to be very awkward and reactive with other dogs. Also not good on his own when we try to leave him. He is never destructive but barks excessively.

That’s why we approached West TN K9 for additional training. Cash just finished a 2 week board/train and we could not be happier or more encouraged about continuing to build on his work at WTK9.

It was a good experience from start to finish.

My initial contact with Taylor helped me understand what our options were and what the goal of the training would be.

Guru Terry’s videos and the written guidelines we got were all spot on.

Trainer Emily’s communications up front and her daily photo or video clip and report cards during Cash’s training were so helpful in understanding what he was capable of and how he was learning it. Her Go Home session was perfect for us to overcome our nervousness and feel more confident about continuing the training at our kids’ home in Memphis and then in our home in an Airstream trailer on the road full time.

My husband, Steve, and I both feel like West TN K9 is a great value, and we thank them all for helping us and our Cash to become a better family for one another.

We booked our dog, Batty, for a two week board and train in July and it's worth every penny! Batty is a rambunctious one year old pup but this training has gotten him on the right track. He can have a rough play style and didn't always take corrections from my older male dog, causing stress for all the dogs in the house. They've learned to coexist while respecting each other's space and we now have four peaceful pups. Highly recommend!

I took my 5month old GSD mix puppy for a 4 day board and train and I LOVED it! Each day I received a report card with pictures (attached) on how she was doing and what they learned and when I came to get her, they showed me how they worked with her and how I can continue building on what she learned with follow up sessions available!

I’m looking to continue her training with them and will be bringing my pitbull to them too. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

They were so sweet with my boys and I got to see updates through training. When I say this is THE place to send your dog, I truly mean it. I don’t even know where to begin! My big baby, Blue - a 120-pound, 5-year-old Cane Corso - had struggled with behavior issues for years. I often felt defeated and out of control, which was especially challenging with a ‘no longer a puppy,’ large breed dog. I had previously heard of West TN K9 and how great they were, so I gave them a call and after speaking with Taylor, who was so knowledgeable and accommodating, she recommended the 21-day board and train program. Knowing Blue’s history, they went above and beyond to tailor the experience to him. For the first three days, they arranged pick-up and drop-off to ease him into the program, assessing him carefully to ensure he’d be comfortable staying for the full training. This level of care and flexibility immediately put my mind at ease!!

From day one, they reached out to update me on Blue’s progress - something they didn’t have to do but chose to, showing just how committed they are to each dog. Post-training, Blue has been a different dog. I finally feel a sense of relief and confidence knowing how to blend the training he received with our home rules. The resources, support, and reassurance the WTK9 team provided made all the difference.

A special shoutout to Blue’s phenomenal trainer, Bailey, who guided us every step of the way and provided the best updates, and to Mack, who loves Blue almost as much as he loves her! I could go on forever about this team’s dedication and care. If you’re looking for training, support, and a place that truly cares about your fur baby’s well-being, WTK9 is the absolute best choice. I was so impressed with how well my rambunctious four month baby girl has progressed. I never would have thought so much improvement could occur in 4 days!!!! This place is the best!! Worth every dime, I love the staff and they clearly love my dog! I was at a loss with what to do with my American Bulldog until I talk to Taylor at West TN K9, she assured me they were in my corner. I did the 3 week drop off pick up program and by week 2 I was seeing some real results. The daily report cards were a nice touch to let me know about my dogs day! Bailey, Vader’s trainer was personable, sweet and knowledgeable!! I highly recommend any of the trainers here and this facility to anyone needing help with their dog!! Thank you West TN K9!
