We and our doggo had a good experience at Shamrock Ranch. Appreciate that they can care for our dog even though he is reactive to humans and dogs. They kept everyone safe and the visit was quite smooth

Nice place. Was greeted right away, friendly staff. Gina our groomer was very professional. She took care of Jowy for her first groom. We have a follow up appt coming up and am sure another A plus service. They also have training classes for your pups, will definitely sign up for it.

We have a non-food motivated dog and had no idea how to train him given his disinterest in any treats (no matter how tasty). He stayed at the kennel for two weeks and came back with leash skills and sit/lay skills! It's amazing. He also was still his happy little self and was clean and healthy. They took amazing care of him and taught my husband and I how to keep the training up and continue to build on his foundation skills. Such a great experience and so valuable!

Lisa is excellent in her field. Our one year old pup is a sweet but very stubborn girl. We had worked with several other trainers before, and though we saw improvement in her obedience, there were multiple things that we continued to struggle with. After 2 weeks with Lisa, our girl was like a new dog. She was much more obedient, and the behaviors we had been struggling with were resolved. Lisa explained her training methods and the requirements of reinforcing that training very well. She happily communicated via email when we had follow-up questions, and she established realistic expectations from the beginning while delivering results. Furthermore, she and her team were able to accommodate our pup at short notice once we explained that we have a newborn at home. I'm happy we took our pup to Shamrock.

Our older dog can be aggressive so it's hard to find boarding places; I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to board both of my dogs on relatively short notice. The dogs runs are spacious and secure and the staff is friendly and skilled. An even more impressive feat was when my dogs came back home, they were as happy and healthy as when I dropped them off (and with no weird acquired behaviors). Anyone with difficult dogs knows that is not always the case when you board them! 10/10 would recommend.

Don’t ever board your dogs here. My mastiff lost 15 lbs in a week and they returned with all of her medication. My shepherd developed tremendous anxiety and barks insensately when he’s in his crate which he didn’t do before he spent a week there. My dogs ages were 7 (mastiff) and 2 (shepherd)

I did contact management after I picked up my dogs on the day scheduled. I called Michael 6 times before he would take my 7th call. He had no explanation as to why my dogs were treated so poorly. He had apologies only.

It’s true that their stay was in 2017. It’s also true that I don’t know what “improvements” you have made to the facilities. However, I find it hard to believe that you have found more capable people in light of Covid, etc. what procedures do you have in place for care for each animal? Have those been updated or managed?
My alert goes out to you because if you are capable of mishandling dogs in such a way in the past, you are capable of doing it again.

This was my first time boarding my dog (due to a family emergency) and it was a great experience. My dog is a nervous guy and when the staff went to take him for his first walk he gave them some warning signs. Instead of giving up and just having him sit in the kennel the entire stay the team at Shamrock worked slowly to gain his trust and was able to take him for walks and make his time there as pleasant as possible. Really appreciate how caring the people here are.

In regards to our dogs behavior. Before training she had every bad behavior, jumping, mouthing, car riding was out of control, walking on a leash was just pulling. She returned from her training so much calmer,
walks perfectly on a leash, car riding shes calmer, behaves, jumping has stopped 100%. We loved our dog Maise, but she was a handful since we picked her up at 6 weeks old. She is now still high energy, but she’s a better behaved dog. This is all Lisa the trainer, she works miracles. Your dog will just be a nicer, better behaved dog. It was so hard for my husband & I to leave her for the two week training, so very glad we did.
