The Canine-Kid Connection -

I highly recommend Jane to your family. With two young children we were already a busy house when we welcomed our sweet lab puppy into our house. We should have worked with him more on things like recall, not pulling on the leash, “drop it”/“leave it”, etc., but we had our hands full!! Now three years later we also have a new baby, and the lack of training was becoming a problem. I called Jane and she has been wonderful! She has been helping us train our 3-year-old lab to be a more attentive and obedient member of our family. She takes a patient and non-judgmental approach with the parents, and a positive reinforcement approach with the dog. We are making good progress! I particularly appreciate that Jane works with us at a pace we can handle. She also incorporates ideas for how we can involve our older kids in the training activities, and is thoughtful about working with caregivers on managing the kids with the dog as well. Jane truly gets it. The Canine-Kid Connection is the first dog training service that I have found that fits our lifestyle!

We were devastated that our new little dog, Ace, when introduced to our 3 year old granddaughter, spent the whole time barking and even growling at her. Fortunately we found Jane. She is wise, calm, and patient. And so good with our dog, who immediately fell in love with her. In her first visit Jane gave us such useful advice and training procedures that we signed up for several more classes. That was such a good decision! Ace is now quiet and relaxed when we see the grand-baby. Plus Jane gave us practical and effective advice on several fronts, from dealing with Ace's occasional "accidents" to crate training. I highly recommend Jane. We feel very fortunate to have her advice.
