Colette is extremely knowledgeable. From training marine animals to dogs, she is an expert in animal behavior. The first day training our dachshund Penny, she had her sitting while maintaining eye contact instead of jumping for attention. Dachshunds are notoriously hard to train but we’ve only had 2 sessions with Colette and she has our 8 month old dachshund doing things that would have taken us much much longer, if ever. We look forward to more sessions as we are hopeful Colette can help us stop the dog reactivity while on a leash that Penny displays. Looking forward to peaceful and enjoyable walks with Colette’s help! Colette has great communication and is always punctual. What a successful and fun experience! Scout loved his lessons with Colette and picked up on the training tips much quicker than his owners did. I was VERY Leary of getting a German Shepherd as we have a 5 lb Chihuahua and I heard German Shepherds can be aggressive and over protective of the owners. Colette did a great job giving tasks to train Coco. Clear and simple instructions, great results, and a different dog today from the one we brought home. She says in 6 months she'll be a brand new dog. She even included our little Roxy in the training to help them get along better. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Working with Colette was such a great experience. I have a very reactive (and strong!) dog, and she gave me the tools, strategies, and most importantly, the confidence to work with Buster on his reactivity. Colette came to my house and worked with us on games and training we can do at home to help Buster with his focus and calmness. We also did sessions outside in public areas, which was where I needed the most support and confidence building. She really helped me feel more comfortable and secure, to the point where I am no longer worried about a potential reaction when walking my dog. Instead, I now feel prepared and know what to do if we encounter a situation where Buster might react. Additionally, his reactions overall have greatly improved! And the best part is all of the training is fun for Buster. It was really important for me to find a trainer that uses all positive and force-free techniques, and Colette was a perfect fit for us.

We were looking for more training for our crazy Boston Terrier, when I came across a group class offered by Good Dawg Training. We signed up, hoping to help our dog overcome some behaviors and fear. Unfortunately, the class had to be cancelled, but Colette was very kind and offered us private sessions instead. We were excited about this opportunity since we knew we would get way more out of it one on one. We have had only 4 sessions and we can already see huge progress. Colette was very kind, professional, knowledgable, caring, and always took the time to explain things in a way we understood so we could continue training on our own. We look forward to continuing training with Good Dawg Training in the near future. We highly recommend Colette and her positive reinforcement style of training.

With the good dawg traning (colette) help me trained my dog, i can finally walk my dog without leash and my dog doesnt care about distractions anymore. Im so happy to find her i am finally stress free. Oh and i forgot to mentioned the crate training end well. My dog can come inside his cage and sleep there and not scared anymore. Thanks colette. I really appreciate everything youve done for my dog.
