I came to Tabitha and All Big Canines with my dog Monty who was dealing with dog reactivity after being attacked at a dog beach. We had worked with a couple other trainers before her, but I knew my dog still was very uncomfortable and anxious. With one in depth survey/consult where I detailed our work to date, she was immediately able to identify the core issues and the weak points in the training plan. She gave me a clear overview of the alternative behaviors she would be teaching him at his 3 week board and train and had daily check ins on his progress and weekly lessons in that time. We also had return home lessons to generalize these new skills to me and his home environment. My dog is now able to navigate these situations that overwhelmed him before with a new level of confidence and is makes new dog friends easily after a proper introduction, something I thought may not be possible before seeing Tabitha and receiving her reassurances.

Tabitha cares about the animals placed in her care. I am a full blown dog mom, and her experience, credentials, and reputation give me full confidence my dog will be happy and healthy whenever I picked him up.

Our Golden Retriever, Bailey, is a model of a well-behaved dog. OK, occasionally he forgets that when faced with a new friend dog he hasn't seen in a while, but he is an obedient dog.

I owe that to All Big Canines careful and humane training of me. As a puppy we had given him a basic training course at a big box store and he knew a few commands, but we realized that more was needed, especially since I knew he was going to get a lot bigger, and I was not.

We observed a neighbor's large Labrador's excellent manners, and they told us about Tabitha and All Big Canines. We were impressed with her work from the first visit. We have a dog that does not jump on visitors, knows to go to his spot when the doorbell rings, and behaves himself in both his human and canine interactions.

It is important to note that she does this with care and affection, not threats and yelling. And that is what she taught us. Positive not negative. She taught us patience and caring. I can't say enough good things about her work.

When you hire her, you get her for life. I don't mean never-ending bills, I mean someone you can call and ask questions of, get advice from and generally have a friend.

what can I say, they saved my family when my 2 dogs were fighting. now they take care of them when I go out of town. I live 150 miles away now but I still will drive out there so they can take care of my boys. I trust no one else with my babies.

I have taken group classes, private training, and boarded with Tabitha for my adorable pit mix Nina. I had her guidance with private training when I first got Nina (6 months at the time) and it was incredibly helpful for onboarding myself (first time dog owner) and getting Nina used to our home and family. Her training philosophy is always about motivating the dog rather than punishing them and this helped shape me for the rest of Nina's training. We even got to train for rally and I really enjoyed building my relationship with Nina throughout the training process. Now I board her with Tabitha when I need to go out of town and I know Nina loves staying with her because she's soooo happy to see Tabitha and her family. I love knowing she's at a safe and fun place with someone who will maintain all the training. In any emergency situation I contact Tabitha first for any advice and she's always responsive and keeps me sane. There's really no other service like All Big Canines in the high or low dez. I highly recommend!!!

I cannot say enough about All Big Canines, they have been a godsend for me with my husky. I got Rocky at five months old and he was wild, We did training with Tabitha and her team and what a turnaround we had!!!! The training is fun and Tabitha is always a pleasure to work with. Rocky’s training was two years ago, and boy have I had challenges along the way. I moved away from the Coachella Valley so having one on one training isn’t a possibility any longer?
