We have been taking our Black Russian terrier, Chungles, here since she was a pup. She’s a working dog and has guarding tendencies and this really gave her the mental stimulation she’s been craving. My husband and I take turns doing the training sessions. I love the group classes because our dog is able to learn from the more experienced dogs. Larry did a great job of adjusting minor things like where I was holding my treats and how I was using my leash. He is great at giving suggestions and corrections. The truth is, Larry’s job is to train YOU in how to better handle your dog, not to train your dog.
We noticed a significant difference in our dogs behavior after going to these group sessions.

Worst experience with a trainer. I had spoken with the owner several times before bringing my dog in. He made no mention of what type of leash I should bring or of any paper that need to be filled out. I told him I’d be coming that evening he said that’s great. On arrival, he treated me very disrespectfully because I showed up with a flex leash. he had completely forgotten he had spoken with me and I had to explain to him who I was, and that we had just spoken and talked about everything. I had to explain to him who I was and that we had just spoken and talked about everything. He continued to have an horrible attitude with me as if I’m somehow I supposed to read his mind on what to bring and what to do despite me asking him on the phone prior. he treated me poorly throughout the entire session. My dog has been trained by military trainer and he’s very well behaved. He was much better behaved than many of the other dogs there which I could tell annoyed the trainer. Just a wierd person with no awareness of how to treat people. Here’s what I’m gonna say about this place. If you don’t know what good training is you may think this is a good place to go but it’s not m. the training is subpar and the trainer has a poor attitude, and had a very disrespectful attitude towards me because he made the mistake of not telling me what I needed prior to the class. I was so respectful and so nice to him the entire time and even at the very end he made comments about my dog, as if he was poorly behaved when in fact he was behaving better than most of the dogs there. It was as though he was upset at himself for forgetting to tell me about the details of the course and then put all that frustration out on me. This is not a great training place. There are far better places such as the proper military training professionals, who also understand dog behavior. To top it off I paid for the full class and he cut the class 15 min short because he said he was tired and it was cold. So unprofessional. He looks like he hates what he does. Stay away.
