Nick's Dog Training -

I would really recommend Nick’s Dog Training to help train your dog with any kind of training - obedience, behavioral and pulling a cart! He helped me train my Bernese to pull a cart in one day. He understands dog language, how they think which helped me to understand why my dogs do what they do and how to get them to listen to me. My dogs definitely are behaving much better.

Nick was the best investment for our dog! He trained us on how to train our dog! He was beyond professional, courtesy, punctual, and so very knowledgeable. I would give him a 10 out of 10! And recommend him to everyone and anyone! My dog has passed his canine good citizen test and urban canine good citizen test. He is on his way to becoming a therapy dog. Because of Nick, our dog Blake can be taken everywhere and everyone loves to give him pets and say hello! Thank you Nick for everything and helping us.

I have a Great Dane. After speaking with different trainers I decided on Nick. He approaches his job in a professional manor, but the feeling is more friendly than ridged training. You can not go wrong training with Nick. He takes the time adjusting, and teaching according to how your dog acts.

We had tried training our golden retriever/German shepherd as a puppy. We enrolled her in some group classes, but they just didn’t do the trick. By the time she was fully grown, she had become a hyper girl who had developed some bad habits, such as intense leash pulling, jumping on guests at the door to say hi, and some other unwanted behaviors. She was strong and hard to hold back, so we didn’t take her out as much as we wanted for walks and adventures. Then, I stumbled across an ad for Nick's Dog Training and decided to give him a call. We are so glad we did! Luna is now able to follow our directions and commands with ease, and she has learned that her good behavior has allowed her to join us on more adventures! I also never imagined I would be able to trust Luna off-leash, and we can confidently do that now, which is amazing. Nick was very helpful and worked with us in a variety of environments, ensuring that whatever our goals were for Luna were met. Nick trained our three dogs (2adult dogs and a puppy). He was so knowledgeable and helped us so much with our dog’s behavior. The adult dogs were being aggressive with other dogs walking by our yard and our puppy needed obedience training. My 90 lb male also pulled horribly when trying to walk on a leash and now he walks perfectly by my side and listens. My puppy listens off leash now too. Thank you Nick!

I have shed so many happy tears with the accomplishments achieved with Nick’s help! Before Nick’s help, our girl Millie was a hard puller on her leash and I had absolutely no control, even with a prong collar on her. Even though she knew her basic commands in the house, outside was a different story. It was really sad for me, and for her, because she does like being outside and going for walks, but it was such a chore. She was also super aggressive with other dogs, whether it was walking the neighborhood, in the car and seeing another dog walking down the street, or just seeing another dog walk by our house. People were afraid of her just because of her aggression towards other dogs but really, Millie is a people lover and is super sweet, you would have never known that though if you were around us with your dog. Our very first session with Nick was astonishing! I was literally beside myself with how Millie did with her leash “heel” training, it was literal magic! What was even more amazing, was putting the leash training to the test on a walk, without Nick there to guide me. Needless to say, Millie didn’t pull or try to lunge at another dog on our walk, I have never felt more confident while walking her since. Today, I not only have more confidence in myself but I also have more confidence in Millie. I am so proud of both of us and I love that I can take her outside, off leash, knowing she will listen to me. Today, Millie can be trusted at dog parks, something we would have never EVER done before Nick came into our lives. I would have never guessed that Millie even liked other dogs but she does! That alone makes me tear up. We are eternally grateful for Nick and his expert training and we HIGHLY recommend him to anyone and everyone we see!
