In the past, I’ve boarded my cat Momo for trips. After the earful Momo gave me the last time, I couldn’t bring myself to do it again and decided to go with a sitter. I’m so fortunate we found Emily!

At our initial meet and greet, she not only brought over business cards for an emergency and local vet, but took care to ask detailed questions because she wanted to cater specifically to our cat’s personality and eating/playing preferences. She is professional, knowledgeable, and quick to respond.

While we were away, Emily sent us multiple pictures/videos and left a detailed message on each visit. She brought a bag of toys to see which one Momo preferred and clued us in on the one he liked! She made an effort to clarify our instructions based on her observations when she visited, which I am so glad she did. My husband Perry and I have had Emily as our loyal cat sitter for over 13 years. Our handsome tabby, Snicklefritz, is a bit of a sweet and sour kitty. It means so much to us that she radically accepts and appreciates him for who he is. She has been very attuned to his body language. She respects his boundaries and works hard to get him to play. Our gentle and adorable calico, Marsha, crossed the rainbow bridge. While she was with us, Emily was very attuned to her health challenges. She always managed to get the purrfect photos of her.

Emily has been very invested in the well-being of our cats. She has given us great ideas for helping Snicklefritz feel more at ease while we're away. Your cat(s) will be safe with her. She has been so attuned to our cats that one time she caught that Marsha wasn't feeling well. This allowed us to plan ahead to arrange veterinary care. She showed so much care and compassion for us when Marsha passed away.

We are able to relax knowing Emily will send detailed updates and adorable photos / videos. She is a great pet photographer! Emily has a beautiful and generous heart. It's clear how much she enjoys her work and respects the unique and wild nature of cats.

If you're looking for a cat sitter, look no further. Emily, at Your Cat's Companion, is amazing! She was highly recommended to us by a friend five years ago. We feel so lucky and thankful that we can totally rely on her to take such good care of our two cats whenever we're on vacation.
Emily is very thorough, coming to meet the cats beforehand, getting to know their likes and dislikes, emergency information, etc..
She has a very sweet and gentle way with our cats. You can definitely tell she loves all cats and takes care of them like her own.

Your Cat's Companion is a one-person operation, run by Emily Ziebell. Emily is very personable and LOVES cats! We've been using her since 2018 and she has taken excellent care of our cats whenever we go on short or long trips. We tend to give her written instructions for special needs of our cats and she follows them to the letter. Of course, she adds in her special touches: a. She knows how to handle our somewhat shy cats, has established a solid rapport with both of them. b. She knows how to get them playing, brings a variety of toys with her, along with using what we have in the house. c. While she goes through busy periods, she always makes quality time so our cats maintain a human contact. d. There have been times when our cats have gotten into some messy mischief. Emily always cleans up the mess and figures out solutions to prevent such incidents in the future (such as giving them vigorous playtime to wear them out). e. Emily does a good job with either Email or text communications with us, letting us know how the day went and sending pictures and videos from time to time (and she takes great photos of the cats!).

If you hire Emily, she will want to be introduced to your cat(s) and she will lay out how she works, along with her paperwork. We appreciate that, since we had a cat sitter that really didn't do that and it turned out our RING doorbell ratted this sitter out. Turns out she didn't come when she was supposed to, even skipped a day. Emily has been very punctual, coming every day and making sure things are locked up when she leaves.

Emily was recommended to us by a good friend/fellow cat owner and so my wife and I have no problem recommending her in this forum. If you own cats and need someone to take care of them while you are on vacation, please give Emily Ziebell a call. She is far and away the best cat-sitter we've had, won't use anyone else!

My family has been using Your Cat’s Companion’s services for our two cats since 2007. Since that time, we have traveled frequently and have counted on Emily Ziebell for cat care and for related tasks (e.g., bringing in our mail/packages). We have been 100% satisfied with Emily’s work. She has gone above and beyond to make sure that our cats are well-cared for in our absence, giving us peace of mind when we travel. We know that Emily will feed each cat their vet-prescribed food and medications (both are senior kitties now), that she will play with our cats (they are more playful with her than with us!), and that she will check in with us periodically to let us know how our cats (and house) are doing (often sending us super cute photos & videos). Both of our cats ADORE Emily, even though they are often shy around other people. Emily is the best companion that any cat could have!

Emily is like a cat whisperer! Our two boys love her, and they're not especially outgoing cats. She really connects with them. She's a total pro, knowing what to do in the event of any cat crisis. She maintains daily communication while we're away, sending reassuring photos/videos of our cats at play, getting combed, or just napping. Emily is the best catsitter I've ever had. She is totally reliable and very detail-oriented. She wants you to relax knowing that she is completely trustworthy with your kitties--they are safe, clean and well-fed and watered. She also likes playing more than any other catsitter I've met. She gets down on the floor and PLAYS with your cat, not just swishing a fishing pole around and looking at her phone. If you like, she will text you photos/videos of her time with your cats. During holidays she is in GREAT demand, so schedule an off-season trip and Emily is your outstanding catsitter!
