With 45 years of experience, Duane is by far the most experienced Dog Trainer I have ever worked with. He is a little on the pricey side however you get what you pay for. Try to find some youngster with lots of degrees and certificates, but does not have 45 years of real life dog training experience. You will absolutely thank your lucky stars that you found him.

Our very hyper husky mix was in need of some intensive training. She is smart and behaves most of the time but was jumping, scattered on walks and generally all over the place. Duane worked with her for the two weeks she stayed with him and she is so much better now. He showed us the things he taught her and methods used which have all been very helpful. Brought my foster over to work on his leash reactivity problem. In one session Duane showed me how to teach him proper manners and bringing his focus back to me when he gets worked up. I recently got my 6 month golden back from Duane's 3 week program. He was sent there for basic obedience training for a puppy. Before his training he would march to his own drum, tune me out if he is at all distracted, only do things if I was going to give him a treat, pull on the leash etc. After the program, my boy looks to me for leadership, heals PERFECTLY when we go on walks (I can go for 2 miles now with him by my side effortlessly). Another thing to mention is I have had friends who took their dogs into the more commercial/brick and mortar training facilities and the dogs did not learn much. In comparison, Duane does the training in his home where he lives with his family, which I think transfers much more seamlessly when the dog goes home to its owner.

Duane is amazing! We recently adopted a 2 year old German Shephard from the shelter and we wanted to give our new addition the best. After the first 2 hour session the difference was unbelievable. He started as a dog pulling on the leash and by the end if the session, he was walking at a heel. We left with tools to continue through the week. We chose to sign up for 5 lessons and we are looking forward to building on each week.

I had my puppy do the two- week board & train program and had a great experience with Duane. He was very helpful beforehand in answering all questions and concerns. While my puppy was with him, Duane sent videos and updates which were very comforting. I got my puppy back well mannered, patient and obedient. Great experience overall.

Duane has totally changed my 26lb terrier from a terror who would only listen when she wanted to and now she comes when called the 1st time.
What used to be a chore walking her is now a pleasure...gone is the constant pulling, lunging for squirrels and bunnies or at other dogs. The barking at other dogs has also declined alot.

After her second vacation at Duane's
she is able to come out front with me to do chores without taking off. She has her e-collar on and knows to listen to me without having to use it and stays on the property exploring.
She is also walking "in heel" across the road with me to visit friends (hers & mine) without a leash (collar on but has not used)

What an amazing difference Duane has made in my little sweetheart. I knew it was in her but didn't know to train her myself. Thanks Duane!!!
