This was an amazing 2 hour experience! We had Reagan and Ryan as our guides, they were so sweet and fun to talk to. We had Bingo and Clark for our horses, and they were fantastic to get to know and spend time with. Between the four of them we felt so safe on the mountain terrain, especially when we were headed back down the mountain. If you're indecisive on if you should do this trail, please just do it, you won't regret it!!

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff and well trained/behaved horses. I have done some riding before but never on this big a horse or on this kind of terrain. They picked a big horse for me and at the end of the trail, I knew that was needed to carry my 180 lbs… they were patient enough to halt the group midway and offered to snap some pictures using our phones, which was nice… they even provided a handkerchief to cover our face for the dusty part of the trail…

Great 1-hour trail ride experience. The entire staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The trail ride was beautiful and it was exciting to do a couple stream crossings on horseback. I really appreciated how safety conscious the team is. I was worried it would be a little hard to find from the highway, but signs are good and it was easy to find. Great for groups of many sizes.

I personally loved the experience. The owner and the employees are VERY assuring and positive throughout the whole interaction. If you're a tiny bit scared, being around them melted my worried away. Once I was on the horse, they demonstrated everything we needed to know about our horses. My horses name was lulu and my husband's was Tinny. Once you get started on the trail, it was pretty easy..the horses do everything. You will still guide them if needed but for the main part you just enjoy the ride. You can tell they take care of the horses. Our guide Jolene was amazing. We loved her! We ended up leaving a large tip for the guides too!

My family and I had an amazing 2 hour trail ride with her new friend Reagan. The horses are well cared for, the staff is beyond helpful and friendly, and the experience is an all-around enjoyable one. We didn’t find any difficulty implementing the riding protocols that the staff wanted us to follow. Although we are experienced rider as it seems that they are well equipped to handle riders of all levels. We highly recommend checking them out if you were looking for a ride while visiting Yosemite.

Our experience with Yosemite Horseback Riding Adventures was a bit mixed. The staff was fantastic in helping us reschedule our tour, which we really appreciated. The 20-minute introduction felt unnecessarily long, especially for more experienced riders.

The trail was rocky and steep, so the horses could only walk, with no chance to trot or canter, which can be more disappointing for more experienced riders. While the river crossings were a nice touch, the rest of the scenery was underwhelming, and the ride felt quite uneventful.

That said, the horses were incredibly well-trained and behaved, which made the ride smooth. It is a wonderful and safe choice for people who haven't been on horses much previously. Overall, it’s a good option for beginners, but experienced riders may find it a bit boring.

We can’t recommend this place enough! We had an absolute blast riding on the one hour long ride ! The trail they took us on was beautiful and diverse and a lot of fun, we really got to immerse ourselves in nature while having a great time 🙂 The guides were extremely helpful and did a great job of making sure you felt comfortable with your horse before hitting the trails whether it was your first time on a horse or not!! 10/10 we will be back

We loved this experience! The family run, all female team here were so friendly, so authentic & clearly passionate about what they do. Well organized and made us feel very comfortable. We did the 2 hour trail which was good. Pretty dusty but free bandannas provided. We saw deer in the forest and some beautiful views. Highly recommended.
