Such a off road treasure shop for sure, we see antiques, and it's like a light goes off. We need to stop now. Native American, antiques and local artist work, jewelry, archeology pieces, arrowheads, and pottery. Fabulous store, I just couldn't keep away from local artists' treasures. Walked away with rings, money holder, love stone hand painted, and a Indian beaded silver bracelet. They were all too fabulous to not buy. The ladies that own the local business were so pleasant and friendly that we really enjoyed chatting with them. Their dog, Miro, not sure about the name, was a beautiful German Shepard. Skippy got along fine with her, and they even let us give their furry baby a treat they had and gave Skippy one, too. The store is delightful, and Rose's Catina is such a historic building that you see first thing. It's just so fascinating to see this historic treasure to boot. Thanks, ladies, and I appreciate all our treasures.

Quiet nice place to stop after La Veta Pass. It was nice to stretch our legs and take some silly photos. The family that owns this also has a dude ranch. They also have antiques, local art, and jewelry.

If you are in Fort Garland, you have to visit this treasure of a place. They have real items from frontier life, not the tourist ,kitschy ,genuine made in china stuff. Super friendly people, open to just lookers who are not looking to buy, lots of real history on display, with a close representation of life in a Hogan, like the Native tribes of the area lived. The grandkids loved the jail, and looking at the real buffalo robes, best of all, ITS FREE! They also raise straight backed German Shepherds, and brought one out for us to meet, beautiful dog! Here on vacation, but if I’m in the area, I will definitely come back.

Some of the friendliest people you will meet run this place! We left feeling like family. Their farm is open to all and the animals are all sooo sweet and LOVE the attention! The shop is a hodgepodge mix of cool stuff, even boasting on-site hand forged knives. Seriously cool place to stop by of you're going through the area.

Great selection of antiques, trinkets, and souvenirs! The whole outside is built up like and old western town that has self guided tours! It was so cool! The people inside were so friendly and we talked with them for a while about the area! 10/10 recommend!

Stopped in for a short visit and was treated with great hospitality and our children were obliged with their requests. The history and information provided is researched and true. Spent a couple hours being shown and informed of the history. Everything here was built and maintained by the family. Most awesome experience I have had and the best part it is FREE! Donations are accepted and we suggest a donation to help keep this a free and joyful experience! Thank you and we will definitely be returning again!

The place is beautiful and unique. There are animals, gun fights, and lots of unique exhibits. Also, make sure to say hello to Buttons, the very sweet young Weiner dog and the German Shepherd named Cola. There's also a very sweet cat, whom has a name I've unfortunately forgotten.
