My wife and I purchased our beautiful Daisy from Jodie in January of 2023. Her birthday was Oct 15, 2022. She has a bunch of wonderful brothers and sisters that Jodie has shared pictures with us from time to time. If you are considering Jodie as a breeder, especially for show OES dogs, you are at the right place. Our Daisy was not intended to be a show dog as she did not have good hearing in one ear. That one simple fact allowed us to get Daisy when we did. Jodie’s OES puppies seem to be in high demand! The whole process from when we found Daisy through several referrals to when we took her home was straight forward and simple. Jodie does not sell her pups to just anyone! When we first went to her house I think we were being interviewed as perspective parents! I say that with a smile on my face! Our children are grown up and living with their own families and we were looking a companion, friend and a new member of our family! Daisy has been with us for over 2 years now and she family! We stay in touch with Jodie from time to time and share photos! Our experiences with Jodie and now Daisy have been amazing! Enjoy the photos! From a pup to today. She is currently growing her fur back to full length from a spring cut. We actually love the full length fur on her!

I cannot say enough good things about Whimzy OES, from first meeting them at a show to the three-year-old dog we have today.

The breeders at Whimzy were immediately friendly and welcoming. They were thorough and honest in answering all our questions on their program and dogs. They gave updates on the litter they had at the time, shared grooming and training tips, and were transparent about their puppy raising practices, which are among the best I’ve seen. They were also upfront about their contract, which we had the opportunity to review ahead of puppy pickup. Everything in it was fair, reasonable, and clearly worded.

Whimzy puts a lot of effort into knowing their clients and knowing their dogs and making an appropriate match. We brought our Whimzy puppy home 3 years ago, and he’s been a wonderful addition: Healthy, solid, and well-adjusted from day 1. He gets along beautifully with our other dog and is happily social. I would recommend this breeder without hesitation to a show home or to someone looking for a lovely family pet.

The Whimzy OES team, Jodie Sherrier, and Holly McIntire are breeders who have earned the highest marks in fulfilling the mission of Breeder Excellence from a personal perspective.

As an interested prospective OES owner searching for a breeder, I was so happy to meet Jodie on the phone for the first time. She spent at least an hour and a half with me discussing the breed and inquiring about my motives. Jodie shared a wealth of information about what to expect and how to prepare for a new OES puppy. It was also wonderful meeting Holly McIntire who has spent her lifetime raising, breeding, and showing OES.

From the start, Jodie and Holly have been a fantastic support team. They were fully prepared from Day 1 with a Puppy packet that included an AKC Registration, Pedigree, health testing results to prevent genetic issues, vaccination records, vet visit records and loads of information to walk me through my first days and months with a new puppy. Did I mention that by this time I had received many photos and videos of my guy and his litter mates? So fun! I was over the moon about him.🥰

On pick up day, Jodie and Holly met me at the airport. They were prepared for every possible detail that could come up while sending their charge off to a new environment. It was essential for them that both of us, my little fur ball and I, were off to a great start. His go bag included a piece of his blanket with his mother’s scent, a leash, a special toy, a sample of his food, dishes for food and water, potty pads and many more helpful items. We also quickly traveled to a local pet store to make sure that we had the right carrier to board the plane. This is true dedication and knowing that things go smooth when you are prepared.

Since that day, Jodie and Holly have accompanied me to shows, as co-owners, handled an exuberant puppy in the ring for the first dog show and taught me a wealth of information that has been so beneficial in my journey with my sweet and loving boy.

Breeders are the foundation of success when raising a puppy to become a well-rounded dog. Jodie and Holly are everything prospective owners could ask for and much more. They have extensive knowledge about the breed that they specialize in. They are prominent members of the Old English Sheepdog Club of America. They have devoted a lifetime to these puppies that they have bred and assisted their entrance into the world, and they love every one of them. They keep track of each puppy and are lifetime friends with their pet parents.

The Whimzy team is the type of breeder that we are all looking forward for when considering one of these incredible dogs. Thank you, Jodie and Holly, for all of your hard work and dedication to preserve the OES breed standards. Well done!!

Incredible people that truly care about ethical breeding and raising sheepdogs with amazing temperaments. They have a solid vetting process for candidates and will do everything that they can to ensure that their clients are supported. I especially appreciate that they have puppy contracts and enforce these to keep unethical backyard breeders from harming the dogs from Whimzy. Jodie and David have provided support and education to me for nearly a decade. I've come to consider them friends. When the time is right, I will absolutely get another from Whimzy. Great service. I got my OES from Whimzy. I am not kidding. This is the best place! I love my OES we call him Obe. He is very sweet, smart and beautiful. Jodie and her people really love the dogs. They talk to you years later if you have any questions they’re just very loving, caring breeders. They really have a calling and a love for these animals.

Quality Quality Quality! Amazing kind and THOROUGH breeders of beautiful Old English sheepdogs. Extremely fair and accommodating! These are A+ BREEDERS that are extremely dedicated to the betterment of the breed. Therefore, that will mean adhering to a contract that protects us, the buyer, the sellers and most importantly, the dogs. Our show quality puppy from them finished her championship by 11 months, with 4 majors, two group placements, an owner handled Best in Show and an OH Reserve Best in show. Above all though, she is a happy, intelligent and healthy member of our family. Pet or show puppies, you want breeders like these that support you and your pet for the life of the dog. I respect these good ethical breeders!
