Dr Murray at Westridge Animal Hospital has been our Vet for 35 years. He and the other Vets as well as the Staff are the most professional and caring people I know. Over the years, we have cared for our animals for their entire Lifespan. When the time came for our Fur Babies to cross Rainbow Bridge, Dr Murray and the Westridge Staff demonstrated the utmost support and Compassion. At this time, one of our dogs was diagnosed with diabetes and quickly lost her sight. Dr Murray has provided extensive support and education to our family to manage Joy Lynn’s condition. Westridge Animal Hospital is the BEST in Veterinary Care.

We took our cat to the vet on Thursday and was told she needed surgery to be done Friday at 7:30. She stayed overnight and by 9:30 on Friday we hadn't heard anything and called in and was told surgery just started. After surgery we were told that she would need to stay overnight and when we came to pick her up on Saturday morning we stayed there for hours trying to get anyone to tell us anything about any post-surgical care or medications. We were told over and over again that they just did not know and because of the animal's discomforts we eventually left with the guarantee that we would get a phone call to tell us what we were asking. We did not receive a phone call Saturday or Sunday and so we called back on Monday and talked to them about concerns we had about the cat's health and no post surgical instructions or medications. We were told to just bring the cat back in on Tuesday and they would have someone call us and talk to ensure that the situation wasn't an emergency. Our cat died Monday evening. We were told likely due to an error during the surgical procedure. We repeatedly begged them to give us any medical information or guidance they possibly could about our cat's condition and they repeatedly told us they did not know and they would get someone to call us. We have still not received any sort of callback concerning post surgery care or medications or even a call back to simply apologize or acknowledge any mistakes. We were just told that when they're sure that it won't disrupt their audits then they will refund our money for the things that we were charged for and never provided... which includes post-surgical care and post surgery medications. I have 3 more cats and 2 more dogs that used to go there and I will never take another living thing to this vet under any conditions. If you truly love and cherish your animals you better be extremely careful about trusting this vet with them!!

Absolutely love the staff and doctors at Westridge Animal Hospital!! Our dog has severe anxiety that can make him aggressive because he’s scared. The staff is great with him and let us wait in the car and let us use a muzzle. Apollo always leaves not wearing the muzzle and happy as can be! Dr. Burns is such a great doctor! Would recommend Westridge to any and everyone with pets. Yes they are always busy and yes the wait can sometimes be long but still I rather wait and see a doctor that I know truly cares and knows how to deal with nervous pets.

We had a wonderful experience at Westridge. The wait time with an appt was about 45 minutes to be seen, but once we were called back everyone was just great! Dr. Alisa Sandoval was just the sweetest with our two girls. She took time to answer every question, and we did not feel rushed at all. A very positive and pleasant experience.
