I've been dreaming of getting my salt water tank going for sometime now and was so excited to finally visit my LFS after my tank cycled and these folks didn't disappoint. Amy gave me the college education on what fish and inverts my tank was ready for now and coached me up on when I could make more additions. They had absolutely all the extra gear I wanted too. Totally worth the trip from Ridgway!

I'm absolutely in love with this place! I used to go to J&M and honestly beating myself up for not coming here sooner. All the fish are so healthy, the staff are so very knowledgeable and actually know what they're talking about. Seriously if you would like like a new tank set up and healthy fish babies this is the place to go.

Healthy fish, GREAT advice, fair pricing and exceptional customer service. This is how this local fish store helped me: Just started fish keeping last July. No experience. They walked me through aqua scraping two separate tanks. 25 gallon askoll river filter design tank and the Fluval flex 9 gallon for our betta fish. All fish, tanks, live plants, and everything I have needed I have bought through this store. I had zero issues along this journey because any questions I had- their staff would answer and in some cases find an immediate solution. Amazing selection on fish and all supplies needed. Their completed tank deals are epic when compared to other local stores and Amazon.

This is the cleanest best Aquaria shop I have ever been to the staff is amazingly helpful and has a deep knowledge of their profession I couldn’t be happier with the service and I would highly recommend them to anybody in the hobby

I used to shop at J&M Aquatics and while the staff at both places are very friendly, Western Slope Aquatics are more knowledgeable and have a larger variety of equipment to choose from. The owner doesn't mind taking the time to discuss aquarium setups even if you aren't buying right now. I recently discussed a plan for a 75 gallon aquarium that I want to have running in six months.

The only reason that this isn't a 5 star review is that I only give that if I am 100% certain that perfection has been achieved and I am currently only certain that nothing is perfect.
