Volunteered dog walking and fostered dogs at wags and walks. Good place to get some experience with dogs and help them to find their forever home.

Nice adoption facility holding limited amount of dogs, while most of the dogs under their care are at fosters through their expansive network.

Amazing, caring, passionate and experienced staff, and they offer plenty of volunteering opportunities.

Love the crew and the pups here and I'll adopt soon as I have an opportunity!

Just drove 25 miles to be told they're only doing appointments starting today, and that the dogs on the website are not necessarily on-site. They were not open for walkins 1st thing in the morning. The website needs to be updated, so people with good intentions don't waste their time with place. Also an apology would have been nice.

When I first went into wags & walks it was a very welcoming environment. The front desk lady was very kind and helpful in getting me set up to fill out the application for adoption. I was told that I would be able to meet with the dogs I was interested in after I filled it out and completed an interview with another employee. I got my interview with someone (I cannot recall her name) and I let them know I was interested in two dogs (two different breeds) she asked me only a couple questions which I already answered in the application process to only tell me that the dog I was interested was in was “shy” and she didn’t think it would be a good fit with me having a baby. After that she just let me know she would be in touch. Totally forgot that I was interested in an another dog as well. So I was like what about the French bulldog I was interested in? Then again she doesn’t think it would be a good fit for me… after that I asked if there was any dogs of any breed not specific that was in the shelter she thinks would be a good fit for me having a young child and she claimed there was none she could think of but would let me know if any came to mind…i find it hard to believe that out of a entire shelter there wasn’t one dog that was family friendly…. I say all this to say I feel like from the beginning I was other judged or discriminated against and that she only asked me a couple questions to just entertain my interest for the moment to quickly try to get me out the door. Mind you it’s been longer than a week and I haven’t heard a thing.

The service was great. The food was good but nothing spectacular but he sauce station is a fail!. It was set in a corner next to a dining table so there's not much room to get into the sauce, not to mention the awkwardness of standing next to a table of diners. It's also a bit confusing trying to figure out what sauce to get and what to garnish it with. But the decor was pretty nice and the bathrooms were clean.
