We sent our 1 1/2 year old lab mix Hudson to Abigail for training. He needed some extra help with social situations, being around dogs and people. She often sent us updates and photos (including one of my new favorites of him, attached). He loved being there and she allowed planned visits so I never felt like I couldn’t see him. I would highly recommend Vital K9 to anyone who needs a little to a lot of work for their pup. Hudson came back so much more confident and calm, even my in-laws noticed. Can not recommend enough!!

I have a young Golden Retriever that appeared to have little training.I contacted Abigale the trainer at Vital K9 Training and Boarding. She helped to establish the basics that Walter responded to very well, It has been several months since Abigail helped me to be a better owner of Walter. The training helped me to help Walter to be a better dog and friend. Walter will always be learning but because of Abigail’s knowledge and skills it is more of a pleasure than work with Walter’s training . I highly recommend Vital K9 Training & Boarding for anyone looking for an excellent dog trainer.

I’ve had a dog for a few years that has trained under Miss Abigail. Hazel is very very terrified of men and new interactions. However, with the experience and expertise of Vital K9 she is much more out of her shell and loves new comers and exploring the outdoors. Every dog that I’ve had loves seeing Gail and enjoys any interaction whether it’s training or boarding. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing any help with their fur babies!!

My dog and I had an INCREDIBLE experience using Vital K9. I adopted a 5 year old lab (Lavender) from the shelter with the typical lab attitude - super happy and excitable, and not many manners. I had never personally had a dog that was such high energy. I did a board & train with Abigail. She sent me consistent updates and made sure I was very involved in the whole process. We've done a follow up lesson since then as well and I have seen so much improvement in Lavender! We trust each other much more, and I am now able to take her on adventures with me without worrying about her getting too hyper to control. Abigail is a phenomenal human being and one of the few people I would have trusted to take my dog. Our dog is a member of our family and we care about her the maximum amount a person can. That being said, the decision to send her away for training was not taken lightly. We spent months looking and ultimately chose Abigail because of the way she talked and treated the dogs in her care. She is someone who puts love and intention to the dogs in her care.

She went for the three week board and train with VitalK9. We got almost daily updates, frequent pictures, and questions on things that would help her in tailoring her training.

Our dog is only 6 months old so we weren’t expecting the world as she is just a puppy but we were pleasantly surprised how much our pup had learned. Training is fun for our dog and the foundation from the time with Abigail is being built on each and every day.

In summary, if you want a trainer who you would be comfortable entrusting a family member to - I’d recommend Abigail.
