100% disabled veteran, ask for a call back for additional information. After several attempts I gave up. They're not interested in helping the veteran community. Don't bother finding this non-profit.

I chose this program as it encompassed the help i needed to get started. I was working with Amanda and loved how we’d started off. I had even gotten an animal donated to my son by a breeder they had a relationship with. Which was fantastic. The entire start of the program was professional and very fast paced. The problems were with training. The trainer would never start class in time. Id arrive early and wait and four classes in a row she spent the first 10-20 minutes speaking with other staff and not beginning training. She also brung her massive dog to two of the classes which caused our puppy to pay no attention. The trainer did not give us extra time for starting class late, but also would end class early. For my hour one on one sessions, we would get half of that time spent training. I am not a dog trainer so i was led to believe this program would encompass us coming in, the trainer spending time with the dog and then ending class teaching us the skills to do the homework at home. She barely spent a few minutes handling our dog the first four classes in a row. I asked the trainer to accommodate a thirty minute schedule change and she refused. i’d never been given orientation or taught what to expect. I came in this week directly asking the trainer what i am getting from her in this time and what to expect. As my expectations were they build the foundation and give us the tools to work with the animal at home, yet seems she’s distracted and expecting us to do all the work. I didn’t curse or yell but i directly asked expectations. after our conversation we did a while training class that went perfect. attentive, fast paced, clear. I left feeling more confident in one session than i did the last 4. But fast forward one day, i get a call from a random woman in the organization who has taken over the intake girls job to tell me they cannot meet my demands and i am not a good fit for their organization and they came to a consensus that it’s better not to move forward. I didn’t make demands, i requested if a time change was possible and then came in asking what my expectations are moving forward. but now i have demands? i throw my hands up. I showed up early for every training, i did the homework, and paid them in advance for the training that a “non profit” charges. Yet im being let go for requesting more help than they are capable of giving. Let’s be honest. the trainer doesn’t like me and now im cut. The dire need for a service animal for my son means nothing to them as a few direct questions are intimidating. This is clearly a joke. Oh ya, not to mention they won’t refund me for this month of training i paid for and won’t be recovering as they said “It’s to support the trainers” who clearly don’t give a damn about me or my sons needs and didn’t give us the service. This is supposed to be a program which supports veterans and kids, but it’s not. They are childish and indirect and now i have to start over elsewhere bc they can’t handle questions. DO NOT USE THIS NON PROFIT. VERY MISLEADING.

Victory Service Dogs is a wonderful organization. I am a veteran who struggles with different things that happened during my military service (none of which I want to speak about publicly). I really needed the services they provide, and with their help and with the training my dog received, my quality of life has changed so much. I would recommend this organization to any of my fellow veterans who need help. The staff and the founder are some of the greatest, and kindest people I have ever met. They work hard to ensure that people are taken care of.

Thank you Steve for starting this organization. The services provided by this company are exemplary. I am a veteran that needs a service dog and they helped so much. After receiving my dog and some weeks of training I was able to go back to work. I was hermit that wouldn’t even go to the grocery store, now I have a full time job. Thank you Victory Service Dog for all that you do. I feel confident that I can tackle almost anything now. God Bless.

Bad review for a bad trainer and a bad experience. If you have a small dog that you need to teach how to fetch medication on command or by sound such as an alarm, don’t bring your dog here. According to the trainer, they don’t know how to teach dogs to fetch in response to commands and sounds. And don’t post a negative review for Victory or you may find curious things happen related to finding training. We found a great trainer this evening and are relieved we weren’t given any opportunity by Victory.

Victory Service Dogs is the best non-profit service dog organization in Colorado. They have continuously supported my husband's recovery from the very beginning. It has been a complete honor and privilege to know Steve, Kim and the wonderful volunteers at Victory Service Dogs. They have many caring and loving volunteers that help make a positive change in many peoples lives. My husband struggles with PTSD, Seizures and several other disabilities; he is finally getting the care he needs with the help of this beautiful treasure. Thanks so much for helping my family Victory Service Dogs! God bless you all for what you do and for taking care of my family.

Victory Service Dogs has been great to me and my family. My dog and I were paired with a great trainer that has gotten her to be extremely relaxed and well behaved in public. We soon start to move onto the next part of the program, which is extremely exciting for us. I love being able to take my dog in public, knowing she will not act crazy and be embarrassing.
In addition to taking care of me and my dog, VSD has been great with my family as well. They have like to have events and get togethers that are family friendly. You really can see how much they care.

Victory Service Dogs is an amazing place! They are helping me train my dog Cinder to be my Service Dog. I am a Veteran on a fixed income and could not afford to do this on my own. I'm 100% disabled and truly appreciate the help they provide. Without Cinder I'm not sure how I would be able to do what I am able to do.
