Had to bring in my sweet cat late on a Monday night for a mass removal after it had become infected. The vets and assistants were so kind, helpful and explained everything so well. They took such great care of my girl, were attentive, and quick. We had to wait a little bit for her surgery to start due to other pets coming in with more urgent matters, which is totally understandable. I loved to see they worked on most critical cases first! The cost and break down was very transparent and reasonable, considering sedation was required. If we need an emergency vet visit again, we will definitely be coming here!

Horrible experience. 3 hours, never saw a doctor. Was referred here when my dog cut his foot. Arrived about 9:00 am and showed them this picture since the cut is hard to see when his foot is all bloody. Was shown to a room and told they were a little understaffed but would get to me. They checked in an hour later. Then, at 11:30, after waiting two and a half hours, I asked for an update. Was told they thought someone had already seen me and that it would be another 30-60 minutes until a doctor could check on the dog. A 3-4 hour wait is not emergency service, and losing track of who has been seen is not acceptable. I am glad all my dog needed was some wound cleaning and a few stitches. Maybe it was a bad day, but I would not trust this location if your pet has a serious issue.

I could not be more happy with this hospital. My old boy (16) had the absolute best care I could ever ask for. He got a little over zealous with a stuffy and caused himself a blockage. Dr. DeSandre met with us as for the best course of action for him. Multiple options were presented and attempted before we made the decision to remove with surgery. Her knowledge, heart, love for her work, and understanding of what we were going through saved our boy and gave us more time with him. We are forever thankful for her care and her patience. Excellent care isn't always cheap but it is absolutely worth every penny. Thank you so much VSR and thank you for being such an awesome surgeon and person Dr. DeSandre! "De-we-worming at its finest!"

My 11 year old Papillion had a horrible injury and I had no idea what was going on. Started at one Vet ER and was told the wait time was 3 hours. Called here and they said they were at about 30 minutes. We went right there and was seen within 5 minutes with a plan of action. They took a quick look and provided a full guesstimate based on what the Vet could see. Unfortunately, turned out that what happened was she had a ruptured cancerous tumor on her mammary glands. Dr. Arthur and the team gave my girl great urgent care with a future plan for palliative care. Everyone we interacted with was kind, compassionate, and helpful.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for the care and support we have had with Dr Arthur and her oncology team. Our 11 year old chihuahua was diagnosed with lymphoma it was devastating news for our family. We found Veterinary Specialists of the Rockies in Castle Rock Oncology Department. Dr Arthur was so caring and walked through all the steps and option's for our Laverne. Dr Arthur’s oncology team is absolutely amazing. We knew when we left her for her chemotherapy she was in the best hands. The care and love they show during such a difficult time is beyond words. They love all their cancer babies. I also want to say how grateful we are for the ER front desk. They deal with very stressful situations on a daily basis but always was helpful and caring week after week. Thank you Dr Arthur our family is so grateful for you. We are now moving to a maintenance with Laverne and we just enjoy everyday we have with her.

I was referred to a good oncologist that shares their suite but unfortunately realized AFTER scheduling my dog's surgery, that I did NOT get a referral for Veterinary Specialists of the Rockies, which is an entirely different, greedy company.

They say they want a deposite which is deceptive, a deposit to them is to pay for the entire surgery before any services are rendered. (They collect any extras after the surgery). Ironically I arranged payment in full for 5 pm that night, which was a day before picking up my recovered dog, but that wasn't good enough. They canciled the surgery out of greed, after my service dog had fasted and we were all there for the surgery.

We could have rescheduled when the priority of money over patient and their owner could be met by paying in full in advance but I wanted my dog's life in better hands and did not want to financially support Veterinary Specialist of the Rockies.

Nice offices and nice art, if that's your priority.

I cannot thank the team here enough for their kindness and support as our pet passed over the rainbow bridge tonight.

The care everyone took to make the process peaceful and loving did not go unnoticed.

You all made a very hard experience as peaceful as possible. Thank you.

Our dog, Henry, came here due to severe GI issues that ultimately led to a cancer diagnosis, and after a couple weeks we had to let him go. From start to finish, Veterinary Specialists of the Rockies provided excellent care, showered him with love, provided us with consistent updates and gave us direct news at each stage of the journey. After his passing, they checked in on us and even sent very nice cards. We would recommend this place to anyone in need of an ER vet who cares about your pet like its their own and who care about you as a person going through a tough situation. We are really thankful that Henry came here during his last few weeks of life.
