I volunteer with a dog rescue in Memphis, TN, and we just recently started using Josh for training with our pups. We had been looking for additional positive reinforcement trainers in the area for a while and were thrilled when we came across his information on another rescue’s website. We now have a few of our more difficult dogs enrolled in his board and train program and we have started doing group training classes with our fosters. I have been really pleased with the progress I’ve seen on our dogs thus far. From leash walking skills and reactivity to food aggression and people aggression, we have seen improvements in many of our dogs already. I am so thankful that he has agreed to work with us and I am hopeful for the future of our dogs now that they are being better prepared for entering their adoptive homes.

I run a foster based rescue in Memphis and met Josh a few months back. I take our training very seriously and will only work with positive reinforcement trainers. I asked Josh probably 100 questions and he answered every single on to put me at ease. I have also had him meet with my volunteers, and a few dogs to get a feel of what he does. Everyone was incredibly impressed and we have already noticed a change in the dogs after a few sessions. Josh not only worked with the dogs, but also the fosters-so that they will continue to be better fosters for future dogs. I cannot recommend Josh enough. He is also very quick to respond to calls and texts. I also really appreciated him following up with fosters after the training to see how it was going. Memphis is lucky to have this guy helping dogs and people become better.

Our foster dog, Honey, has a traumatic history resulting in difficulty engaging with other animals. Her fear response has made it difficult to place her in a forever home. At the advice of our dog rescue, we reached out to Josh for help. Once Josh evaluated Honey, he reassured us that she would be able to enjoy the company of other animals with consistent implementation of the tactics from four weekly training sessions. We began applying what we learned earnestly and saw an immediate improvement in Honey's confidence. Honey can now go on walks, passing other animals without adverse reactions, and will start attending Josh's dog daycare next week. We couldn't be happier with the service and outcome from our four training sessions with Josh and look forward to continuing to watch Honey thrive with continued socialization.

Josh is incredibly professional and knowledgeable when it comes to training dogs (and humans). We added a rescue to our family and he taught us how to make the transition comfortable for her and how to build her confidence. Very professional yet through his busy schedule was able to do a great job on finding and training a rescue dog for our family. Perfect match for my husband and I in mid- late 60’s. Daisy blends into our entire family including a grandchildren of6. Plus participating with our lake cabin boating extended weekends working through all the paperwork and foot work plus obedience training with Josh. Can’t go wrong with this veteran k9 ! Ok let me first start of by saying, your dog is not the only one that gets trained. Josh is amazing with dogs and their owners. He is patient, very knowledgeable, but most of all he knows not every dog is the same. He has different ways to train your dog. Trust me his ways work. My dog Tank at first was untrainable but today he is has just a few more test to be ceritfied as my service dog.
