Our elderly dog went in and it turned out he had a large tumor in his belly. The doctors were excellent laying out our options and we decided surgical intervention was best. I highly recommend VCA animal hospital. They have a great staff, always helpful and available. My King Charles Cavalier receives great care whether it's routine vaccines, questions about his test results (he has a heart murmur),or appointments with Dr. Meyer. The front desk staff is always welcoming and the techs are well educated in veterinary care as well.

Dr. Meyer sees one of my reactive dogs, Kobe. She always gives me a peace of mind when taking care of my boy. I never have to worry and I never feel judged that he is not easy to handle at the vet. Her and her team have seen him for 2 years now, and I truly feel like he has become better at the vet thanks to his great experiences with her. They go slow with him, read his body language and give him all the love even though he can be tough to handle! Thankful for them!

Britani G is my saving grace and an answer to prayer. I had called VCA because my dog had a cardiac tamponade that had been emergently drained at another facility a week prior. I was trying to see if there was fluid building back up around his heart. If there was, I was going to put my dog down because the other hospital gave him 48 hours to a week to live. However, I was struggling with the idea because he acts like a puppy still and has been healthy and active up until he dropped. Well, she helped me coordinate a follow up ultrasound at the cheapest rate possible. I was in tears and had called 8 other facilities but the exam was so expensive after we had already spent so much on his emergency visit and procedure. We hung up and I had an appointment for the next day. Next day came around, the VCA called me back they said they were canceling my appointment her an I made. I was absolutely devastated. I started making arrangements to put my dog down because no one would help and I didn’t want him to just drop dead of another cardiac tamponade while we were out of the house. Well a few hours later Britney apparently heard about what happened and actually CALLED ME, apologized about the confusion and had an appointment for me in a couple hours. It was by far an answer to prayer and she had advocated for me and my pup. Needless to say, my dog doesn’t have fluid around his heart for right now (that they could see) and he is now a surgical candidate for the spleendectomy he needs in order to hopefully survive! We are now on day 8 post tamponade, trying to find a cheaper way to get receive the surgery. We’ve already spent so much and sometimes it feels like it’s about making money. However, it’s people like Britani G, that go the extra mile when things that don’t necessarily fit in the box and help that makes the world of difference. Thank you Britani and thank you to the director and provider that helped out ❤️. Their staff is always so friendly but I had to rave about Britney because she is absolutely amazing and has no idea the difference she made in our lives just by being a kind human and sincere human being ❤️. #shoutingfromtherooftops You’re amazing Britani! Thank you again for all your help!

The entire staff is super kind and friendly! I’ve been taking my crew of pups here since they were babies and they couldn’t be in better hands <3 I trust everyone there with the care of my babies and I love how patient they are (especially since I tend to be paranoid about everything). I brought my cat to the VCA Animal Hospital for his neuter, and they took such great care of him throughout the process. Every check-up was quick and informative, and they always comforted him with snacks and petting, which made the experience even better. I’ve seen reviews mentioning disappointment with emergency services, and while it’s true that they don’t handle emergencies on-site, I personally witnessed them kindly assist an owner by providing a detailed list of places to go for emergency care. Their dedication to animals and clear communication make them a great choice for regular care! Also, the front desk is fantastic—they actively check in with people as they come in for appointments, avoiding that awkward wait where you have to hope they notice you. Great customer service all around!

My family has been using VCA Woodbridge Animal Hospital for many years. The doctors, vet techs and assistants make you feel like your pet is their pet! Having the care club plan makes this so easy to get appointments and get reminders on what our pets need to have taken care of. Every time we go there with our little girls, I know they are going to be taken care of. Another thing I love is the drs take the time to explain everything. Thanks VCA Woodbridge!!!!!!
