This vet office is truly the best! We came here off a recommendation and we can’t recommend them enough, ourselves. Our dog was a shelter dog and is scared of everything and everyone. EVERY single member of this office takes the time to make him feel comfortable. We don’t have to drug him anymore to go to the vet because they made him comfortable. He had surgery and some complications and they took time with us explaining everything, extra time with our dog to make sure he was okay. They’re compassionate, thorough, kind gentle and you can tell truly care about you and your pet. Their prices are beyond reasonable and we feel we’re family with them.

I really appreciate the care VCA provided for my kitty Mikko. He was a complex case with severe chronic illness that had us in every couple of weeks seeing multiple vets (he saw almost all of them there at one point or another) but each of them took the time to review his history and listened to my concerns and answered my many questions. I never felt rushed. Dr. Jen Roberts got to know us pretty well, she was fantastic and so compassionate. I’m not sure if she’s still at this office, but I wanted to mention her. When we were at the point where I knew he was very sick, Dr. Lyndsey Larson got him in that day to examine him and check his blood work. She was compassionate and honest about his outlook and supported me through making the decision to let him go, which I very much appreciate. Everyone at the front desk was always very helpful and the techs were all great. Terra in particular was always so sweet with Mikko, which I know helped ease the stress he felt there. They also sent a very nice card in the mail after he passed. Thanks again to the whole team at VCA Firehouse for taking good care of my boy.

Amazing staff and vet technicians and vets. I can’t say anything better about the front desk as they were super friendly very helpful and accommodating. A big shot out to the x-ray tech Jake as well as he was just so wonderful with my dog. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for veterinarian care.

I have nothing but great things to say about VCA Firehouse and Dr. Jen Roberts. We brought our cat, Manchi, to see her and she handled the entire situation with tranquility and made us feel at peace with the tough decision we needed to make. The staff at Vca Firehouse are wonderful. They Love Animals, and it shows in their caring, their kindness, their compassion and their pursuit to do the right thing for your pet. I recommend them very highly and I’m grateful to them for the recent assistance with my dog PHoo who was suffering from Extreme Gastrointestinal Distress. My only concern is, I wish I had been told the option of having in-house lab results versus send out of the office lab results. The first one is more accurate and my dog’s very low sugar numbers would’ve been seen faster.

I recently visited VCA Firehouse with my sweet cat, who is experiencing a really difficult and heartbreaking condition. Dr. Jen Roberts was incredibly kind and empathetic when advising us on options, and checked in with us regularly. I felt seen and understood, and knew she had the best interest of my cat at heart. VCA’s new prescription policy has me going elsewhere for my pets medical health.

As of January 2025 they’ll no longer fill prescriptions with Chewy. They will however ask you to come to their office for a printed copy of the prescriptions to mail to Chewy instead. Something that they could do themselves, or perhaps, email to you.

Additionally they do not price match. So my dog’s 30-day prescription is $105+ through VCA instead of $76 through Chewys. They also charge a dispensing cost so the amount to get pills to cover the time spent MAILING the paperwork to Chewys would be $77–for 10 pills!

We love Dr Cal and the office staff is lovely but this new policy screams corporate greed. Very disappointing.

My experience as a vet assistant at VCA Firehouse was incredibly frustrating. Management was disorganized, leaving staff without training or support. We were often short-staffed, resulting in overwhelming workloads and no opportunities for raises, making it clear our hard work was unappreciated.
The workplace was rife with drama, cliques, and constant tension, which only added to the stress. Safety protocols were frequently ignored, raising concerns about animal care.

I strongly advise anyone considering a position at VCA firehouse to think twice. It’s a demoralizing place to work, and I left feeling burnt out and disillusioned
