The staff isn't very knowledgeable about animals food prices and such! When I got my Sunny from them they refused to get her out of the ten gal tank she was in with nothing but bedding! No price or anything on the tank looked like an empty tank!!! She was a full grown corn snake!!! She wasn't wanting anything to eat for 2 months and when I brought her in with me to talk to someone about how to get her to eat the owner was rude!! They let their dogs run amok !!!!! I want to add that I now got my snake back up to weight !! She's in a 40 gal breeder tank and healthy and happy!!date is wrong on pics it was to be 2019

I totally love up town pets both of my dogs get groomed and have stayed in their Kennel I've never had an issue or problem I told me love the owner Ashley great personality I would recommend up town pets 100%

This place is AMAZING! The staff is the nicest people you will ever meet. The groomer is the kindest woman ever. She did not have to help me but I was asking about some sort of thing i could lead my large iguana with and she engaged in conversation with, helping me figure out EXACTLY what I needed. The cashier, she is a doll. I go in there a lot and she always helps me right away with exactly what I need. I just LOVE Uptown Pets!!

I have Ashley, the owner, groom my little Pom-Chi. They DO NOT leave them to dry in a cage with a blower. The groomers dry them. She clips him for me in the warm weather and he celebrates his Chihuahua heritage. She does an excellent job blending the fur at the nape of his neck. She leaves his ears furry and his tail bushy, at my request. In the winter, he has his fur long and celebrates his Pomeranian heritage. They bathe and brush him beautifully. I trust my dog being there. A full grooming may take about a week to get an appointment, but it is well worth it. If you just need your dog's nails trimmed, you don't need an appointment for that. Thank you Ashley!!

Ashley is a great groomer! Even down to Kelly the girl who makes appointments she will try to work you in if possible..they take good care of my fur babies, I never have to worry about leaving them there! Thanks again for the great job all you guys do!

i hadn't been in the store in years. the last time i was there was right after they opened and i thought i remembered them having fish. I got a new aquarium and was looking to stock it. they don't carry fish now, not a big deal, i have other animals and always want to spoil them. so i looked around. the store was dusty and smelled bad, but i walked up and down every aisle anyway. I even went and stood at the counter for a couple minutes. I was in the store maybe 20 minutes and it wasn't until i touched the door to leave that i encountered the first employee. i know how it is to be the only employee in a store with a list of things to do so i could forgive that, but she was rude on top of all else!! horrible store. i will never go there again and i will tell all my friends of this experience too.

@ Amy Miller. Uptown Pets does not freeze mice. They are purchased frozen and are supplied by a company in Decatur. I am not a fan of snakes being kept as pets but as a retail business, you have sell what the public wants. Being frozen is probably less painful and less terrifying than being swallowed by a snake. And occasionally all businesses have an employee that does not meet expectations. I can assure you that it was not Ashley. Ashley is forever helping me with rescue animals free of charge. Bad people do not donate time and services to homeless animals. I am a animal advocate and worked for years in pet retail
supplies. I know the business and I personally recommend Ashley Mosley and Uptown Pets .

Workers were very rude & teenage girls shouldn’t be running the place when they don’t know how to cut nails. i drove an 1 1/2 hours to come here & i’m very disappointed. worst experience ever! ill never be back! my dogs toes look horrible now! i will for sure go to professionals for now on after this!
