John has been a great mentor for me. I have learned a ton from him and even though I moved away, he is my first call for training advice. I owe a lot of my success as a trainer and a competitor to John. He’s one of the two people I would trust with my difficult dog.

I know what you're about to say, "why is a trainer reviewing another trainer?"
Well, sometimes, even trainers need help. in 2018 our community experienced the most destructive wild fire. I had a young puppy who was having difficulty with the poor air quality.

In order to not miss HUGE parts of his development i sent him to another trainer (not John) and boy do I regret it. The puppy returned to me with so many issues that I wasn't sure we could rectify the problems. Those problems were intense fear and insecurities

John worked with me and my puppy, he even kept him for a couple weeks while I traveled to clean up some obedience I didn't have the time to do as my businesses were taking alot at that time.

John updated me daily while I was gone and to this day that dog still can be pulled out and display incredible obedience and with a happy attitude because John.

Ryu is currently a cadaver dog for the sheriffs department and would not be there without Johns empathy and compassion to help this dog feel better about the world.

If you have met this dog, you would not guess he EVER had an issue. He is an active part of our home and program, he even traveled to Costa Rica.

I cannot thank John enough, the work he did on Ryu and me, during some dark times was priceless.
