We came to Fernando after trying everything to get cooper to become a calm and normal dog. We couldn’t take him places because he would be so afraid of everything that it was just embarrassing for us to have him out and about. We couldn’t leave the house because we were afraid he would escape his crate and destroy our house. Now, I take Cooper out and I get asked if I’m training him to be a service dog. Not only is he the best dog I’ve ever had, he’s the best there is(fight me on it). Since doing classes with Fernando I have felt a deeper love for my dog than I ever have before. Seeming him pick up on the things we both learned and then apply them makes me prouder than I can express in words. Walking my dog is now the best part of my day, not the worst, and I get compliments on his behavior just about everytime we leave the house. That is reason enough to go through with two tails in itself. If you’re questioning whether or not do go through training with two tails, do yourself a favor and do it. You will not be disappointed. Two tails training is absolutely amazing. My bully was human and dog aggressive to the point we couldn’t leave the house or have people over. They give you the tools to work with your pup and teach you and your pup confidence. My bully is like a different dog with the help of them. People come over and he stays calm. We can go on walks downtown and he does wonderful. Hands down go see them for all of your dog trading needs. Thanks a million Fern.

It was hard handing over my dog's leash to Fern's hand that first time. I love my dog so much and am thankful I took a leap trusting him with my dog, Darwin. He gave me the tools to teach Darwin to chill. I didn't realize how hyper vigilant he was until that point. Now, he's able to live with less stress and enjoy life. No more barking at everything that strolls by and no more pulling me all over the place on our walks. Since Darwin and I have a consistent, solid foundation, his recall is now instant and he immediately listens to cues for good ol' pets and praise. I'm forever grateful and I know Darwin is too.

Two Tails training is the best thing to ever happen to our family. We set up a consultation with Fern when we had just had it with our dogs. Starting at that consultation, we started on our homework and started seeing improvements. Now, we are almost to graduation, and we continually say how much Two Tails has changed our lives. We started out with 3 large, untrained, reactive, aggressive dogs. Now, we have 3 dogs who we can actually enjoy and relax with. Walks are stress-free and enjoyable (never something we thought was possible). We have put in lots of work and still have lots more to do, and we are so excited to continue seeing results. If you are debating setting up a consultation, do it. It will change your entire life (and your dog’s life). You have to be willing to put in the work every day, but it is 1000% worth it. My fiancé and I first found Two Tails Training on Instagram, where we were blown away by Fern's ability to work with aggressive and reactive dogs. We were fortunate enough to not have aggressive dogs, however, we definitely needed help with their basic obedience. Erica was such an amazing trainer! She worked with each of our dogs individually to focus on what they needed most. She even drove up to Denver once to work with our dogs in our home - our dogs were always well behaved at the training center, but not at home! We have a 70 lb Golden Retriever and a 105 lb German Shepherd who will now hold a down at a brewery (and at the vets) making our lives so much easier! I am able to walk both of the dogs at the same time, which never would have been possible before Two Tails!

If anyone is looking for a trainer, I HIGHLY recommend the team at Two Tails!! For those in Denver- they are DEFINITELY worth the drive!!

It was a great experience working with Fernando and Erica. The dog training Fernando provides is straightforward. He starts with the foundational training skills and builds on each session. Be prepared to put the work in to see results. Since we have completed the training it has been much more enjoyable on hikes, walks, in public, and even at home. I can not rave enough about Fern and Shy over at Two Tails! They have truly changed my life and it was worth the months of waiting to get in (so be patient people, it’s totally worth the wait and your money!!). When I first met them, I was not a confident dog owner at all and Scooby was reactive to other dogs and people. He is my first dog and realistically I knew nothing about being a great dog owner. Hiking and being outdoors is a HUGE part of my life and I could never truly share that passion with Scooby because of his reactivity. I can now confidently take Scooby on any hike I’d like (even crushed nine 14ers this summer!) and have it be an enjoyable and memorable experience! This was not possible before Two Tails. We can even enjoy food and beer after at a brewery together! It feels like we are just starting to really live life together all thanks to Two Tails. Fern isn’t the kind of dude that is going to sugar coat things. He gives you information straight up and expects you to put in the time and effort into training just as he is doing for you. Your dog will never be “perfect” but consistency is everything!!!! Spend the money, put in the time, and get the tools you need from Two Tails to give you and your dog the life you both deserve and have always wanted.

Two Tails training is very effective. They provide you all the tools, concepts, and guidance needed to get results. We brought in a hyper puppy and now have an obedient member of the family.
