My fur babies love Lara! When I started a new job, I needed someone to walk my 70 lb pup daily and daycare was out of the question price wise. Lara met my pup and immediately made a connection. Leeloo is always excited to see Lara and loves walking with her pack. Lara also drops in on my cat when I’m out of town and her updates are always so heartfelt and I know my animals are safe.

Lara is the best pet sitter I have ever had—I travel often and have experience with many different pet sitters and I can say with absolute confidence that I’ve never experienced so much attentiveness, great communication, and someone who cares for the wellbeing of my two cats just as much as I do.

She took care of my two young cats, played with them, gave them lots of cuddles, fed them, gave them treats, cleaned their litter boxes, and gave them a routine and something to look forward to while I was away. They were always so relaxed when I got home, a true testament to her care. I’ve recently moved away from DC and honestly one of the things I will miss the most is having someone I have absolute confidence in leaving my pets with. I would be lucky to find someone even half as good as her! She is truly one of a kind.

And she also took so many amazing photos of my cats! I’ve saved all of them and will post a few here 🙂

We have worked with Lara for the past year - she is a true pet lover and our two adult cats warmed to her immediately. After years of using teenage pet sitters - we are so much more comfortable entrusting our two boys to Lara. We no longer worry when we leave town knowing they will be well-cared for - she is easy to schedule with and always sends us photos or updates when we are away. And it's an added bonus to know that we have a trusted adult who takes care of our mail and keeps a watchful eye on the house - should we have any unexpected home repair issues pop up while we are away.

We have used Two Tails DC for a little over a year now. The service and it's owner Lara have been consistently reliable, professional and personable. I honestly think our two cats prefer Lara over us at this point! 😂
Thanks to Two Taild DC, we have peace of mind that our cats Abu and Baloo are being well looked after, and recieve regular updates and photos while we are away.
Not only do they get fresh food and water and a litter box clean up but also play time, treats and love. Lara also expertly administers medication to my asthmatic cat when required.
This service is so fantastic that our neighbor also now uses Two Tails DC for her cat sitting needs!
Would highly recommend to anyone in the Capitol Hill area.

Lara is great! We adopted a dog, and she is very slow to trust new people. In need of a dog walker, we introduced our dog to Lara last year.
