Only place I could find near by to groom my cats. They did a wonderful job with both, though one of my cats dislikes being touched on his feet and tail so they could not groom him to a lion cut but they got rid of all the knots which was my concern. My other cat was able to be given the lion cut completely. The prices are good and the staff is very friendly.

I’m not sure if you can see it but yes my puppy is bleeding. I loved going to them because they always do a great job but seeing how scared my puppy was today before going in I was wondering why but when we got home we realized they hurt him. Won’t be going back.

My dig is an aggressive little terrier when it comes to a nail trim. They did a great job and he wasn't traumatized at all. He was looking sharp when I picked him up and he smelled good. I will continue to take him there. Thank you

I have been taking my dog here since she was a few months old. I recently moved out of town and I would still make the trip because I loved this place so much. Unfortunately I could see the decline as it took me over a week to even get someone to answer the phone to make an appt. When I arrived at 8 am there was a line out the door because there was a new computer system, GREAT, maybe it would make things easier long term. Another customer in line wasn’t happy and let me know Davies now owned the shop. I could tell the overall energy of the staff had changed. My dog is extremely energetic and excited for the groomers, staff would call out her name to great her the moment we walked in but not this time, although everyone was still friendly I could tell they were not happy. At pick up I was notified of a coming price increase. The customer before me had a regular price of $25 and it will now be $50. Mine would only be increasing $10-15 dollars, but double is absolutely unreasonable. My dog didn’t come back as happy. It makes me sad. I’m writing this in hope that the new owners will “wake up” and realize there was a reason this community loved this shop so much, I don’t believe the community will receive all these changes well. I feel for the staff that are just riding the wave. I will not be back, I will be finding a new groomer in our new city, I wish the staff the best of luck!

Everyone has different experiences, but unfortunately mine has been bad consistently. The customer service is not good. They never return phone calls. The groomer has forgotten to cut my dogs nails a few times. I took my dog in for a haircut today and 3.5 hours go by. So I call to check on my dog and they haven’t even started on him yet. So the lady tells me she will call back when the groomer assigned to my dog comes back from her lunch break. She calls me back in about 5 minutes and she says it will another 1.5 hours. I do NOT appreciate my dog sitting in a cage for 3.5 hours. It should not take 5 hours to get my 13 pound dog a haircut. I get no apology on the phone and neither in person. They are way to busy for how small they are. The pack there schedules and cannot deliver in a reasonable time. This will be my last timer going here. Thankfully his nails were cut this time.

After my previous dog groomer went on a personal leave and closed her shop, I was in need of a new groomer for my dog. I base my choices on previous reviews posted on here, and sure enough I was glad I chose tropical paradise pet groomer. They are efficient and it’s so easy to book a grooming date. They usually have multiple days and slots available when I call. I highly recommend tropical paradise.

I tried to schedule an appointment with Kathy, which is a delight to deal with, for my dogs today. Sadly, did I find out that ownership has changed, and that Davies Animal Hospital is the new owner. Therefore, there are new rules in place. I have to prove that my dogs are rabies and Bordetella vaccinated. Well, I don't agree with any single vaccination, but I do know that rabies vaccination is important which they have. On top of it before I can have a spa treatment for my dogs do I need to release my home address or P.O box. I don't have a P.O. box and I am not willing to release my address. Why? Social security number next? I opted not to take the appointment, I felt that this is just another way for Davies Animal Hospital to gather income. Again, I loved the old ownership, especially working with Kathy, she is a gem. Will miss her!!!

It’s sad to see this place change hands. As a customer of over 20 years and multiple pets it’s time to find some where new. Davies animal hospital has bought out the old owner and put new rules in place. But the one that has me shook is the 45% increase in payment. Why would and short haired 8lbs dog cost $70 to groom It was originally $47. Seems like they are just trying to increase cost to push the business out and expand their office. A vet hospital that isn’t even open 24hrs at that. Hmm money hungry I think!
