My rescue is reactive to both people and dogs. I thought I’d never be able to find boarding before finding Training Wheels. Jamie and her team are AMAZING. I am always confident Charlie and her sister, Indy, are being cared for in the best possible way. They only have people handle Charlie once she is 100% comfortable with them. Indy will also eat her food & Charlie’s in seconds - the team is great and feeds them separately due to resource guarding. I am forever grateful for this facility and their team members!!

We’ve been working with Jamie, Jax, and Hannah at Training Wheels Dog Training for our stranger-danger fear-aggressive dog. Everyone we've worked with has a calm, empathetic approach that helps both our dog and myself feel confident and supported. Living with a reactive dog makes the humans anxiety rachet up as well, and I've appreciated how in each of our sessions I'm able to feel a bit more confident in working with my dog on hard things.

Their modern training techniques and focus on building a foundation of trust have made a huge difference in our dog’s behavior and in how we are training to make progress in tough situations. Having a facility we could start working at before trying to get our dog to accept a stranger at home was incredibly helpful. If you’re looking for a trainer who truly understands reactive or fearful dogs, I can’t recommend Training Wheels enough!

Jamie is an excellent positive reinforcement R+ trainer. She has years of experience and has already helped me and my at times nervous and reactive dog a lot in just a few sessions. She is specialized working with dogs that have all kinds of different challenges in their lifes. Including reactivity and aggression. I highly recommend Jamie and Training Wheels. 🐾🐶

I have boarded 3 dogs at Training Wheels over many years. Jamie and her team take great care of the dogs while they are there. The accommodations are comfortable and all of my dogs have loved play time in the huge outside yards. We recently started using Jamie for behavior training as well. She is an expert when it comes to training. I would recommend her highly - especially with special needs or challenging dogs. Training Wheels deserves 6 stars!!

When I first met Jamie and her team at Training Wheels, my dog Rusty was terrified of both dogs and people and would run away from everyone. He now readily runs up to meet everyone at Training Wheels and our vet's hospital, and is eager but cautious when meeting new people. Training Wheels carries my strongest recommendation.

We cannot thank the team at Training Wheels enough! Oscar, our mini dachshund, has struggled with reactivity around dogs and people. Training Wheels has slowly introduced him to being comfortable and having fun in a small group of dogs. Their skilled trainers have been amazing at showing him all of the positive praise while he is learning. Yesterday I was able to take Oscar (with little sis Olive in tow!) to the dog park for the first time and he had a blast. Training Wheels gave both Oscar and I the confidence to try without fear knowing we had the tools to make it fun and how to realize if it was not. Yay for Oscar and yay for the team at Training Wheels!
