Tony’s program is pack full of knowledge, experience and a solid mind set. My family adopted a rescue and thankfully had no issues but not knowing his background and having a toddler, it was important to know what MIGHT we face…we learned a lot about our boy. His personality, his way of thinking and patterns that we can anticipate as he settles in to his new, permanent family. Tony’s program is unlike many…it’s not obedience training..it’s more connecting to your dog and helping them think for themselves, which in turned gave our dog the best behavior. We had a great overall experience with Tony. Our dog, Zoey, responded positively to his unconventional methods. Tony’s techniques were distinctive, focusing on latent behaviors and helping us grasp Zoey's perspective, needs, and personality. Although it required a significant amount of time and effort, we are ultimately pleased to have gained the tools to understand and manage Zoey's behavior. I have known and partnered with Tony Nila for more than 20 years.

Tony and I began professionally working dogs in Mesa Arizona in 2006.

Together Tony and I worked in both private dog training as well as group training at the worlds largest Pet Training organization. We also train dogs in the sport of USA Schutzhund, Canine Good Citizen Program, and PARTNERS (formally Good Paws) Service dog training.

Following our time together in Mesa, Arizona, Tony went out of his way to distinguish himself as a leader, in dog training in Hollywood, California. Tony formed his company, Grumpy Puppy Dog training and distinguish himself in movies, such as RESIDENT EVIL series staring Mila Jovavich (Doberman Pincher), THE KINGDOM staring Jamie Fox (German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois), as well as becoming, the primary dog trainer in the TV series REAL HOUSE WIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS (Pit Bull, other).

In addition to his Hollywood exploits, Tony also conducted group dog training lessons, as well as private lessons in Los Angeles California, as well as teaching a dog surf school at popular LA beaches.

Tony and I have an excellent working relationship. Tony is an expert at canine behavior as well as on leash, aggression, resource, guarding, jumping, digging, general house training.
