Great dog trainer. Our pup has been in the socialization classes since he was a little guy and he is now 100lbs of good boy. 🐾. Going to class is my pups favorite thing in the week! He loves playing with his human and dog friends, and I feel confident that he is safe in that environment.

Timber Mountain Training Services has literally changed our lives. Before working with them we had an aggressive anxious dog who we couldn’t even take out on walks thru the neighborhood because she would react to every dog she would see and be out of control. Now since working with them she is a much happier balanced dog who can not only go on walks thru the neighborhood, but go out to public events and completely clam and controlled. She actually enjoys going out and so do we ! They not only teach your dog, but teach the owner how to be balanced and calm to help the dog also be that way. We not only found the help we needed for our fur baby, but also found a friend in Nate and a family in the other dog owners and their pups.

Nate and his wolf dogs have been instrumental in helping turn our previously dog reactive Doberman into a perfectly social guy. We had tried other trainers before with no results, but everything was different at Timber Mountain. Nate really knows his stuff. We participate in socialization class almost every week and have started bringing our new rescue as well. It’s a great environment for both dogs and people. With Timber Mountain, anything is possible!

Currently writing this review as I cry happy tears because a simple consultation here has changed my dog and I’s life. I struggled to control my large Great Dane/lab mix whenever I would take her potty. She would have reactions of pulling, growling, and jumping whenever she saw strangers. I decided to take her to Timber Mountain Training Services after seeing many recommendations on a neighborhood page. I simply called and got it scheduled within the week. I was probably more nervous than my dog for the consult because I was scared she would be out of control, but I didn’t need to be because
1. This is what Nate does! He knew how to read my dog and assess her patiently.

2. She made me look like a liar as she was immediately comfortable around him as a stranger ( Has never happened).

My consultation was informative and hands on. Nate showed me what to do and then had me practice. He was straight forward and constructive with me, but did not judge me. He was also sincere about what kind of training was needed and demonstrated that he truly cares about what is best for us. He could’ve easily told me to come back for a bunch of sessions, but he knew this isn’t what my dog needed. Instead he showed me everything I needed to know to correct the behavior during my consultation. He also gave me a resource guide to reference whenever about what we discussed and provided links to some of the items we used. I was even able to order what I wanted that same day.

He was in fact right that the consultation is all my dog needed!! After 1 day of using all his recommendations my sweet girl was like a new dog. It’s been about a week and a half. Today she was put to the test when a neighbor walked closely past us, and she listened to my commands with no issues. My girl is 6 years old and I have only had her 3 years. I encourage you to know it’s is never too late for you or your pup! She’s my first dog and I genuinely didn’t know what I was doing for the longest, but I’m happy I got the help from Timber Mountain Training Services. My only regret is not coming sooner. If you need help, this is the place to go!

I was fortunate enough to have someone recommend Timber Mountain Training Services to me after having a discussion about separate issues we were having with our dogs. She could not have spoken any more highly about Timber Mountain and how they helped her. I called them the very next day and set up a consultation with Nate, the owner. He listened to the issues I was having with my Golden Retriever and I was very impressed with how knowledgable and detailed he was in explaining how to deal with them. Since then, my Golden has made steady progress towards being the best dog he can be. Quite simply, Timber Mountain Training Services is the only place you should be going to if your struggling with your dog. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. He will even take on cases most other trainers wouldn't even think about dealing with. Highly, highly recommended!!!

The changes brought about in reactive dogs that I have witnessed is nothing short of miraculous at the hands of this trainer. I have seen dogs that wanted to eat people or other dogs go from having to stay at a distance muzzled and restrained to being able to play in an enclose with a dozen other dogs. We came because my dog apparently killed another dog when it got into her yard before she came to live with us. We are her 3rd and forever home. She now plays regularly with a yard full of other dogs ant Socialization Sunday, and lives her best life. Nate is a knowledgeable, understanding and compassionate person whose life is dedicated to helping dogs and owners live happy balanced lives. That being said, you have to take what you’ve learned and actively apply it at home. Nate will make sure you have the tools. It’s up to you to keep them in play. Happy dog, happy life. Nate, and his pack at Timber Mountain Training are the answer.

Few months ago, my husband and I got a full bred lab pup. We both grew up with dogs and we even watched videos and read books to brush up on our puppy training skills. Our pup, Kaner, was a little monster though. He would not listen to us, kept jumping on us, and was HORRIBLE (pulling, picking up rocks and any garbage pieces he saw) every time we walked him. Everything we tried wasn’t working and we were getting very frustrated….
We looked around online, saw the great reviews for Timber Mountain and wanted to give it a try.
Best decision of our lives! Kaner now listens to commands, I can comfortably and confidently take him on walks, I can take him to public places, and he’s great at interacting with other dogs and people. Our neighbors and all their young kids love Kaner and they’re all amazed at how good he is for being a pup. All thanks to Nate! 💗

I tried other trainers with unsatisfactory results. I brought my reactive Australian Shepherd to Nate and he showed me every thing that I need to teach my Alyeska how to behave properly! He is honest and talented!
I highly recommend bringing your babies to him!
