First time here today, unfortunately! So happy we visited. Was looking for Soothe CBD balm for my girl Maya's hot spots. They don't carry the brand I was looking for but the woman kindly helped me find something similar. We also left with some freeze dried minnows! They have an amazing selection of natural treats and foods. We'll be regulars here for sure. Great store.

My mom and I have gone to Thomas Tails for many years! The staff is always really helpful and will order different items for you if they don’t have something in stock. Thomas Tails is the only place where I buy bully sticks and other chews for my dogs. I hear horror stories about buying chew sticks that aren’t made in the United States. You need to read the packaging carefully because some brands advertise as “made in the US,” but usually an international facility is the middleman at some point. I’ve worked with some large pet food companies and learned a lot about the ingredients actually in your pet’s food. All the brands Thomas Tails carry are in the top tier of foods with quality ingredients. I get some peace of mind knowing I can trust anything I buy here.

We come here for our cat's and dog's nail trims offered on the second and fourth Sundays (11:00 AM - 2:00 PM) of every month. The $5 cost goes to Purrfect Cat Rescue of Crystal Lake. The people doing the trimming are very professional and friendly. All animals are welcome (dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.). They have a well stocked store of pet foods and treats for your four footed and feathered pets.
