Woofhaus has always taken care of my two dogs- they come home exhausted from a day of fun at day care and/or they come home gorgeous from a good groom. We love Woofhaus!

Every time we bring our dog for grooming at Woofhaus he comes back looking so handsome and happy! He is a pembroke corgi mix and they do such a wonderful job with his trim and nails. Highly recommend them!

Cookie absolutely loves Woofhaus! The staff is incredibly friendly and caring, and it's clear they genuinely love dogs. My pup always comes home happy and exhausted, and I know she's in great hands. I can't recommend this daycare enough!

Coming in from out of town for an extended period of time. It's tough to find groomer's with availability where we live. Woofhaus in Platt Park was incredible! Quick to respond, we had an appointment within days. They gave incredible customer service and our golden retriever looks and smells amazing! Kellsey has groomed Winnie since she was a puppy. And when Kellsey moved to Woofhaus, we followed her. She puts so much care into every grooming visit and treats Winnie as if she were her own pup. We adore Kellsey and the entire Woofhaus team! They are all so friendly and accommodating.

I was made aware that this facility uses 'poking' as a method to get dogs to respond or follow commands. This approach is completely inappropriate and outdated, especially in a setting that should prioritize the well-being and emotional comfort of its animal guests.

Dogs respond far better to positive reinforcement and gentle handling than to unnecessary physical prodding. 'Poking' a dog can lead to stress, anxiety, and even fear-based aggression, as these actions can be interpreted as threats. This is what happened to my dog - who at 12 and a half years old and who has never (ever) showed aggression toward people - responded negatively to this handling. I was told he snapped at the individual. Again, he's never done this to anyone, likely because no one has ever physically prodded him before.

I strongly urge management to reassess their handling methods and provide their staff with proper training in humane, positive-reinforcement techniques. Using compassionate approaches isn’t just a best practice—it’s a fundamental responsibility when caring for animals. Until such changes are made, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this facility to anyone who values their dog's emotional well-being.

Took Millie for a groom today and it turned out so great! The women at check in were friendly and I got to meet her groomer as well! She did a fabulous job with her and Millie was so happy when I picked her up. We will be back!
