Our group really enjoyed the visit and plan on visiting again. I appreciate the wonderful volunteers who spent time with us asking if we had questions and describing the animal residents and their rescue stories.

This is an animal sanctuary, not a zoo and I would never bring any guests with me that didn't understand the difference. I appreciate your sanctuary, thank you for all you do for the animals.❤️

Great experience for a great cause. Some animals are little far and hidden but you have to understand that is not a zoo. I will recommend bringing a binoculars and wind breaker, being high up in the walk path could be chilly at times. Take your time, no need to rush through the exhibit.

I hope society start turning zoos into a sanctuary like this. I love how the wild animals are cared for here. You can tell they all are fed and cared for very well. The workers and volunteers are so friendly and knowledgeable about the place and animals.

The animals have so much land to roam around and so many sections to choose from. It’s insane how massive the property is. I have never seen animals like this so relaxed and not roaming back and forth because of stress.

I have never seen a living black bear or a grizzly bear in my life so it was an amazing experience to get to witness in person. Sadly the only ones I came across before today were the ones in a museum.

I hope this place keeps getting the support and recognition it deserves.

We had such a great time visiting The Wild Animal Sanctuary! It was worth the money and I'm glad it's going to such a great cause. The staff was very friendly and informative as we walked along the path.

We were given a free monocular to use so we could see the animals a bit better, but I would recommend renting a pair of binoculars if you plan on spending several hours there (it's only $10). It was such a unique experience to view the animals from their habitats. We even saw feeding time for some of the lions, tigers, and bears! All of the animals looked relaxed and well cared for. It was fun using the binoculars to try and spot them in the grass--it felt like I was on a safari!

They also have a wide variety of food items to choose from in their cafe and ice cream shop, and the prices were very reasonable. I'm grateful a place like this exists and it provided such a unique experience.

Incredible wildlife sanctuary. If you’re worried about the ethics of zoos, this place is the answer - providing vast enclosures for all of the rescued animals, some of which are from the infamous Tiger King zookeepers. The 1.5 mile long walkway gives you a chance to see tigers, lions, bears and more. It’s best to get there early - at opening time - to see the animals getting fed and at their most active.

Loved it. We had a fun experience seeing the animals and walking on the raised pedestrian pathway. So grateful for all the donations and hard work that goes into making this possible. This is the longest elevated pedestrian bridge in the world. We visited early. By the time we left we were tired and so were the animals the heat of the afternoon had gotten to all of us. The foxes and bears are entertaining and look happy in their new homes. So glad they were saved from their abusive families.

If you are looking to visit, its important to understand this is not a zoo. If you are interested in learning about their conservation efforts, it is well worth the trip. The enlclosures are set up for the animals welfare, not the pleasure of visitors. That being said, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We have been donors for over 20 years and it was our first visit. They do very good work and Ibhighly recommend them as a charity.

A great experience that supports a wonderful cause. It is expensive, but has always been worth the time and expense when I've gone. The overhead walkway allows a good view of the animals without overly disturbing them. Sometimes the animals will be more active than others depending on time of day and weather, but you can plan accordingly. The porcupines have only been out once when I was there. It's useful to have a camera with a long lens/zoom if you go for photos. With patience, you can spot animals even at a distance and may see some interesting behaviors like the wolves exhibiting dominance/submission.

The staff has always been friendly and informative when I've been there. The restaurant offers a variety of choices if you want to eat there and the ice cream shop is very good especially on a hot summer day. The audio tour provides a lot of interesting information.
