Our year old Labradoodle had a sweet disposition but no discipline of the basics. In our first training session with John he gave us enough coaching to work with Lucy during the week on “sit”, “stay”, “come”, and no jumping. John helped set up the important focus areas to teach us how to be better dog owners and handlers. High marks for John’s people and dog skills. We have continued working with John’s techniques and Lucy is a fun, well behaved dog.

This is exactly what we needed. We tried a group class but the instructor was too busy with one student and we didn't even get to ask questions. John's 1-1 training took us from the worst pulling dog in the universe to a pup that can make a whole block with loose leash walking after only 2 weeks, and I know we now have the tools to take that further.

John was amazing! He was very skilled and knowledgeable in his training with our dog Jackson. In just a few weeks we saw an astounding change in our pup. John is personable and kind. Not only did Jackson learn a lot we did too! We had homework and games to work on with Jackson in between lessons which made training a breeze. He is also prompt in returning emails and phone calls. I would recommend anyone who needs training for their dog to use John. No regrets, it was worth every penny!

John is absolutely wonderful. He brings such warmth to the dog training sessions - with his love for dogs and his friendliness towards their people. He is very knowledgeable about training and gave me so many helpful tips to manage our Aussie Shepherds. I give John my highest recommendation and I hope to have more sessions with him.

John was wonderful with our one year old Goldendoodle. He worked with her and our whole family to resolve the issues we were having and also showed us fun, basic commands which have helped all of us communicate more clearly with our dog. We have noticed a huge difference in a just a few sessions, and she is a much happier pup now having the structure that she was craving!

A lesson with John for loose leash walking tremendously helped our puppy. He is very knowledgable and knows how to read dogs very well. I highly recommend working with him! Our puppy responded very well to his positive reinforcement.

Our Two Lab Puppies...Louie and Layla are being home schooled
by John. They are learning so fast and John is an incredible trainer.Steve and I debated on group setting, or sending them away to be trained, but having the puppies trained at Home has been a great experience for
them and we love being a part of the weekly training.
John is professional and skilled, so if you are looking for home schooling
your fur babies, look no further...John Miller and The Homeschooled Hound is it!!!

John was great to work with. He was very flexible on times to come to the house - able to work with our schedules easily. Our dog, a Lagotto Romagnolo puppy, responded well to him and learned a lot. We did a total of 6 sessions. Would definitely work with him again.
