Highly recommend the Educated Hound! Jessie truly has a calling when it comes to working with animals. I knew we were in good hands when we arrived and saw her training facility has a wall of photos of all the dogs who have graduated. ☺️ It meant a lot to receive photos and videos of Rocky during his stay with her. At the end, she taught us how to give commands and Rocky got to show off all his new skills! Thank you so much, Jessie!

Tremendous turn around in my dog after training! It’s almost unbelievable. We struggled with so many things and always seemed to fail to communicate properly. Jessie fixed us right up! We received great communication daily with updates and even a little training ourselves. If you ever need training done The Educated Hound is the place to go!

Jessie and her husband have been lifesavers for my family.
She trained our first dogs back in 2015 at another facility, and when our next rescue pup turned out to be very reactive towards all strangers, we went through several unsuccessful trainers before finding Jessie again through a friend.
We didn’t realize she was the same wonderful trainer we had used in the past until we heard her voice again on the daily progress videos she sent!
She is so kind and patient, but helped get us the results we were looking for. We feel so lucky that Enzo and Annie have a safe place to go for board and review… and always look forward to seeing Jessie and Josh, who welcome our pups home to their farm like members of their family.

We just had an amazing experience with the education hound. From drop off to pick up Jesse was absolutely amazing. Her training style is loving and effective. My dog is completely reprogrammed after the 14 day training. It saved our dog and family!!! She’s the best around. I tried another trainer that come out to my home and it was a complete waste of time and money. The Education hound is the way to go!!!! Thank you so much Jesse & Josh!!

Our pup had some good basics, but her anxiety and prey drive was starting to get out of control. I saw a friend of mine mention The Educated Hound in one of her posts and I reached out to Jessie. All in all, we highly recommend her services! Our pup is more confident and responsive, her prey drive still exists but she has better control, and and doesn't drag my kid down the hill anymore when she sees a random bird. Throughout training, we received daily updates, photos, and videos. Jessie is also quick to respond to questions and our final lesson was very informative and left us feeling very prepared to continue Sasha's training at home. Sasha is a more mature, confident pup and this was well worth the investment.

We took our girl Halo to Jessie to get obedience training she was great, within hours of dropping her off Jessie had her following commands. I was totally surprised to see her obeying Jessie and not being her in her wild rambunctious self but following commands. Every day she sent updates my husband and I were impressed to see the changes in our girl. We plan to do follow-ups with Jessie to keep us and our girl on track. I highly recommend The Educated Hound to anyone and everyone they are an excellent team to train and trust your fur babies with.

I cannot recommend The Educated Hound enough. We got our German Shepherd during Covid and we were unable to socialize him as much as we'd like. He requires a special attention to detail and a particular type of training. Jessie has worked wonders with our boy's confidence, socialization and obedience. She trained our previous Shepherd before him as well. They have really amazing facilities for training and boarding, with a huge field for the dogs to play and work out. I honestly wouldn't take my dog anywhere else.

I absolutely cannot say enough positive things about Jessie and the training provided at The Educated Hound. She has helped us tremendously with our very driven bird dogs (Brittany and GSP), especially our young GSP. The instruction she has given us has been invaluable. Boarding at her facility is top-notch. The dogs get enrichment, training, and time for exploration and RUNNING, which is essential to a good bird dog. Can't recommend her enough!
