Suzi is an amazing groomer. She has been grooming Moose since he came to the San Diego Spaniel Rescue a year ago. These are before and after. She has done well with a dog that has had serious issues with separation anxiety.

I have been 3 times now, with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Buster. Nice deal on Tuesdays! Definitely more convenient than a bathtub at home. I like that all supplies are provided. Buster is happy to be the "pretty boy" again!

I brought in Bea, a 15 year old shiatsu. She does not do well being groomed. Hates to have you mess with her face. Suzi did an awesome job with her. She was able to groom her and remove some matted fur under her legs around her chest. Suzi was so patient with her. Bea left there knowing she was the prettiest little girl. This place is really amazing, all of the staff were extremely friendly and watching them work was so great.

I find that a good self wash can be challenging to locate but I am glad that the first one I tried in east county was a hit! Usually I home bathe as a former dog groomer, but my bigger bred baby isn’t a fan of the poorly accessible, human tub naturally. I wanted to pamper her, and my back, by using a salon and I was super happy I chose wisely. Their products are very calming and neutral smelling, the water pressure is perfect and their 2 speed dryers work excellent! I was immediately a fan after the easy check in and payment process; offering an apron was an unexpected plus so, much appreciated! lol. Definitely looking forward to bringing in my smaller breed simply because I desperately prefer using a high powered, temp safe salon dryer than the towel and low temp hair dryer combo (which is not always recommended!) at home. Thank you!

Butchered my dogs!

My house flooded, and my hubby and I were forced to stay at an Airbnb... during our stay, someone stold one of my maltipoo's

My other two needed a groomer bad, and their normal groomer was booked, and I took a chance on this place.

Now, to be fair, both dogs were matted, I was out of my home for over a month and could not get to grooming tools or groomers.

Joline groomed my dogs. Due to the matting, she had to shave them down short.

I understand that....what I dont understand is how she butchered my female dog, Roxy!
I paid $150. The next day, she could not walk without yelping and kept licking between her legs. I checked, and she had razor cuts everywhere!
Inside her thighs, legs, and vagina! SHE razored her vagina.... it is three days later, and she is still in pain ?
I have put medicine, aloe vera, etc...

My male dog, Maui, has razor burns and cuts on his stomach...
I texted Jolene to let her know the exact review, I am telling you. She did not respond. If I was anything I used to be, I would turn that place upside down.

Bottom line..unless you want your dog to end up wounded and hurt avoid this place!

First timer to The Doggie Detailer, self wash. Very friendly service, showed us how the station works and gave us helpful tips. Willow loved the treats they had! Definitely recommend this business!

Tuesday and Thursday, $10 self wash is awesome!!! Very helpful staff. She is clean but not happy. She got treats and will get over it. ?

The shop is clean and my two goldendoodles always have the perfect haircut every time. All of the groomers are highly skilled. I love that the dogs don't have to be in a cage and get to be leash free in the shop and get to socialize. The owner also has solved some simple health problems for my dogs. Her advice worked and I avoided a vet bill.
