The Days of '98 Show is a fun, lively, irreverent, interactive experience, telling the story of Skagway and the infamous Soapy Smith during the gold rush era of 1898.

Audience participation is guaranteed, so be prepared to end up on stage during the show - and be warned, the more you try to hide and not make eye contact, the more likely you are to end up being called on!

It's an absolute hoot from beginning (where you meet the cast, in costume outside the theatre) to end (where you again get to chat with the cast and have some photos taken).

Couldn't recommend highly enough!!

In case you're in Skagway Alaska, just for the day... or more, The Days of '98 Show is something you MUST SEE! The acting is great, and the show is very entertaining. A great way to spend an hour. The piano player is great too! Be sure you go.

Last week's show in Skagway was an uplifting experience that left us beaming! The talented cast's energy was contagious, spreading laughter and delight through music and song. We adored the interactive elements, especially the cancan with Squirrel Tooth Alice and Belle, and my partner's stage debut with the guys. Thank you for an unforgettable afternoon. We eagerly await our next visit and wish you continued success in your shining careers - you're truly uplifting! Highly recommend:)

Traveling with a 91,70, and 17 year old makes for finding a group outing challenging. I came across this show looking at options for a day at port and I was so glad I did. It's a fun show that the entire family laughed through and enjoyed. There were 4 actors on stage (I think they rotate with other actors?) and the four we saw were absolutely delightful. Everyone we met at the theater was super nice as well.
Lots of getting the audience involved as well. You learn some history while being thoroughly entertained and you have plenty of time to check out the rest of town.

Awesome show. Takes a complicated history and makes it a fun and interactive show. Not sure why it is generally ignored by the cruise lines but definitely a hidden gem (if you can call a show that has run for 100 years hidden!) that won't break the budget.
