Great venue. Very courteous and professional staff. Fun environment and feels very safe inside. Outside is a mixed bag depending on how far away you have to park as parking on site is very limited.

Super upset. My wife and I got tickets for Joy Oladokun at The Black Sheep and was looking forward to this for months and we ended up turned away at the door. They decided to section off the entire parking lot and have no accessible parking whatsoever. The nearest street parking not taken was over a mile away and their answer was basically “Should’ve got here earlier so someone else with disabilities could be in your position instead of you.” There was a spot right next to the door that if they cared they could have allowed us in. They even refused a refund, because although the show didn’t start until 8, the doors opened at 7 and we arrived at about 7:30, and said “the show already started” even though we clearly hadn’t been in for any of it and the concert had not officially started.

Would be 0 stars if I could physically do that. Will literally take your money and do nothing but ruin your night.

Was not impressed last night at all. There was nothing wrong with the bands. They were amazing.
We've been going here for quite some time and have had an awesome time whenever we show up; however, last night was not it.
It was definitely an oversold show. It was PACKED with people, and since it was an all-ages show, there were children there, so it made it even more dangerous (for the kids).
This is a small venue; everyone was elbow to elbow, not abnormal for here, but what made it difficult was the mosh pit. Don't get me wrong, I love being in a mosh pit once in a while, but there were folks there last night who were extremely aggressive. Those of us standing on the side were being punched. I got gut-punched the first time.. walked it off because it can happen, but then, not even a full minute later, I got punched in my jaw.
The parents that brought their kids had to leave because their kids kept being shoved, we brought along our 16-year-old brother, and he was assaulted too, and the dude can't even say sorry.
As a spot for the LGBTQ place, this was not it. So many of my friends who showed up last night were being assaulted, and it's hard for us not to take it personally when a lot of them are saying they were also hit one way or another.
Not a safe place anymore for sure.

Not to mention, when we first arrived, one staff member (I wish I got his name) was extremely rude. When you first show up they have you take your stuff out of your pockets... As usual, however, when I went to place my stuff down, they "snatched" my stuff out of my hand and slammed it into the container. Not okay...

Also also with it being such a packed show whenever the bands stopped and it was like the intermission part between bands everyone would leave to go outside to smoke. There was absolutely no room for everyone outside. None, It was like The Three Stooges trying to get outside or back inside.
If y'all are doing "sold out" shows you need to make sure everyone will have room inside and outside.

Took my brother to see OhGeesy, great concert, great venue! It was so small, so intimate, we could see the band no matter where we were in the building and the sound was great! Louder than other concerts I’ve been to, it was so fun.
Our only complains came from the lack of air conditioning or ventilation of any kind as far as we could tell. By the end of the concert, we were sweating and lightheaded by how HOT it was and how much smoke there was in the air. We couldn’t take deep breaths, swear to god the air was like 5% oxygen in there 😭. I’m sure it depends on the crowd, but it has to get hot in there with so many people in such a small space, regardless of smoke. (The place wasn’t crowded by any means, but lots of people packed into tight spaces = heat). I feel like one or two industrial fans by the stage pointed towards the crowd would fix the issue.
Also, there weren’t that many places to sit (duh, you’re at a small venue) but it would be really nice to have a few seats, maybe over by the bar for people to sit down for 5/10 minutes and then get back up and go have more fun. I am disabled and the heat, combined with the smoke, combined with not being able to sit, on a bad day, could have created a medical emergency for me. Disabled people want to go to fun concerts!
The concert was super fun and I will be back, but the venue definitely needs some small improvements.

Twiztid was our first show at this venue. We frequent shows of all types across CO, this was a great venue. Staff was nice, the crowd was super friendly, and the bathrooms were clean and accessible! Will definitely be back soon.

Absolutely excellent! Great small indoor venue, has clean restrooms, reasonably priced drinks and even though it claims 'standing room only', there are small benches along each wall to get it a sit down if you need it. Couldn't recommend this venue enough, and of course they held the show for Slothrust, so they get extra brownie points!
