So now PetRock Hotel and Spa is hiding under the old Tender Loving Care company due to bad reviews. Unbelievable!

I was a client of Tender Loving Care for over 17 years, then PetRock Hotel and Spa bought the company, keeping some employees.

I have purebred show dogs and they have been groomed by the same employee for year's as this person knows the breed and knows how to groom them. No bones to pick with the employee. It was the new OWNER of PetRock Hotel and Spa.

Apparently the NEW owner told the “bather boy“ to take care of my dog despite that the only employee for 17 years + has groomed my show dogs. THIS was a SERIOUS PROBLEM AS My dog came back butchered! This is a spitz breed that carries a lot of coat and HUGE ruff which was mutilated to almost nothing but 2 inches!! My poor dog looks awful and looks like a starving coyote!! Plus, I have been charged almost double since the new owner took over and also charged me credit card fees in excess of $5 per dog.
IF YOU HAVE SHOW DOGS, DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. They don’t known how to groom show dogs they are just clipper hacks that charge way to much money to butcher your dog!!

NEVER COMING BACK!!

Below are photos of what my dog should look like in full coat, and what the dog looked like after I picked up my dog, which is naked. I can’t even show my dog for at least 6 months due to the hair being pulled out. The regular groomer, Miguel has always groomed my dog but for some reason the new owner let a totally untrained rookie hack and wanna be groomer pull out all my dog’s hair for a bath and blow dry only!! UNBELIEVABLY PISSED OFF!!

They do the absolute best job taking care of my two dogs! They are consistent, kind and so good to them. The shop is always clean and beautiful, and my dogs are always so excited to see the staff. And the pick-up/drop-off service is so convenient! Definite recommend!

I’ve been taking my dog to TLC for many years and can not recommend them highly enough. Doris is always friendly and accommodating. She and the staff do everything they can to fit me in even when they are busy. The best sign of how great they are is that my dog cries with happiness, pulls her leash, and wags her tail every time she goes for a grooming. They’re the best!

I have had both of my dogs groomed here many times. One's a Chihuahua and the other a spaniel mix. They have both emerged smelling sweet, looking beautiful and with immaculate manicures. I never make an appointment--just swing by when the mood hits me ( or when the dogs are smelly and long clawed). The owner is helpful and friendly. The dogs come out happy and clean. What else could anyone possibly want.

We've been taking our 15 year old Pomeranian here since he was 6 years old. Tender Loving Care has always been so good to him. Now we also bring our younger, 50 lb Cattledog to TLC every month for her regular grooming. These are good people and the new ownership has re-invested into the shop. Now you can grab treats, chews and other helpful pet items like collars that might save you an extra trip to the pet store. I'm writing this review because TLC takes care of our dogs so well that I think others should know. No offense to the "one-time haters", but they don't really know what we know from years of patronage. Recommend!

I have been bringing my dog to TLC for the past 7 years every quarter for a bath and haircut. He is a rescue poodle-mix, with some issues about being handled by strangers. TLC has been so patient with him and his haircuts are always so cute! This is the only place I will be taking my dog. 🙂

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! Today was the first and last time I will ever take my dog here. I took my 4 year old golden retriever here for a summer cut. When I got her home, I found a cut down to her skin and still bleeding on her front leg as well as rashes on her underside. She gets summer cuts every year and this has never happened to her before. This place is NOT tender, loving or caring. Rather this place is CARELESS and RUTHLESS. Save your money and your pet. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

The best Pet Spa in Los Angeles. Every groomer is very talented and an expert. My dog always comes out like a movie star. They also provide teeth cleaning once a month by professional dental hygienist.
