I contacted Zac to work with our 4 month old micro mini golden doodle. From the minute he walked in the door he started working with her(us) and getting results very quickly. It was amazing observing him working with our Piper.
So much was packed into the session. I’m thankful he sends follow-up notes on what we learned.
Zac responds promptly to any text I have sent. Great communication between Zac and client.

Cannot thank Zac enough!!! He is so knowledgeable and uses positive reinforcement techniques (which was important to us). Our 1.5 year old Pyrenees mix needed help with resource guarding tendencies and pulling on walks. After one session, Zac equipped us with how to continue on our dog’s progress! Updates include: ignoring toys/contraband with the “leave it” command, no longer pulling on walks AT ALL and tonight he ignored STEAK in his food bowl (yes juicy juicy steak) waiting for the release command instead of guarding it. We are so excited by the progress our dog has made in the last 2 weeks and look forward to his continued success! Thank you Zac!

Amazing 90+ minutes. We saw progress with our pooch who had become reactive since I got pregnant. Zach is so kind, professional and experienced. HIGHLY recommend his services as he was able to recreate situations in which our dog would be reactive and we saw tangible progress during our first consult. We feel we have a great plan of action on what to work on. We realized we were reinforcing behaviors of overprotection and given ways to change it. Thanks Zack!

Zac is an awesome trainer! He packs a lot of information into an hour and a half, and by the end of it, we were shocked at the improvement we saw with our dogs. His positive reinforcement approach was exactly what we were looking for. It was especially important to us because we have rescues, one of which has had a traumatic past that we need to work with. His techniques are easy to learn, and the entire family is able to be part of the training experience. We continue to see improvement everyday. We highly recommend Zac!

I soooo wished we had filmed Ms. Lucy’s reactive training with Zac! With no real small talk wasting precious training time, Zac started our session immediately with feedback and observations about my introduction of Lucy to him, what kind of message I was sending to her with that introduction and how to approach it differently with better success. He purposefully approached other dogs on our walk, explained each move he was making and how it impacted /reduced her reactivity, so that when it was my time to take the leash I had a great sense of control and knew what I needed to do to refine communications between my beautiful dog and me. I was so impressed with how many successes we completed during our training session and I am so looking forward to calmly walking her in locations where there are lots of other dogs, which places we had previously avoided. Zac’s training approach most definitely work beautifully for both me and Lucy. I can’t say thank you enough and recommend him even more! 💕

I am a new dog mom to a 10 month old Lab/Bassett mix. Being a puppy with lots of energy and excitement about life, I struggled a bit to gain control over my puppy in the outdoors and couldn't quite figure out how to fight his urge to jump on new guests at our home. I found Zac with Tails, Trails, and More and I am so glad I did! What really caught my attention about Zac is his positive reenforcement training method. Zac was able to meet with me the same week I reached out. He came to me, which I appreciate because it allowed Cosmo to be in a comfortable environment that he was used to. Zac was very patient with my excited pup and taught me a number of great tips to practice with Cosmo. As promised, Cosmo showed a lot of progress within the first hour of training with Zac. I was very impressed by how comfortable Cosmo was around Zac and how patient and friendly Zac was towards Cosmo! I appreciate Zac's flexibly, kindness, and excitement about wanting to work with dogs. You can tell Zac is very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience working with all kinds of dogs at all kinds of ages. I can't thank Zac enough for the great experience and for the amazing progress that Cosmo has already began to make!
