Sunset Beach CIS Thrift Shop

found SO much great stuff in here with my mom, but when we went to pay she had misplaced her normal card so she tried to use part cash and another card, which took a minute. the lady behind us did NOT like that she had to wait, per her rude comments. thank goodness for the incredibly sweet ladies working, who reminded the rude one that "we should try to be kind and patient with everyone." well said! this place will ALWAYS have my business

Would give it 0 stars if I could. Made a purchase a few hours ago today. The lady at the cash register was so rude to me, my mom and my son when we were checking out. Everyone I’ve encountered there has always been very sweet, so I was surprised. Realized when we got home from all of our errands that what I bought was stained (looked like bleach). Didn’t see it when I bought it. I went back to ask if I could switch it out. Same lady. She had an attitude and wouldn’t let me switch it out. I told her she shouldn’t sell things that are all stained up. She said, “Well, I probably shouldn’t have, but you bought it.” Touted herself as the manager and said they don’t allow refunds or exchanges because it’s a thrift store. Horrible customer service. I totally understand it’s a thrift store, but I was literally just asking to switch it for something else. I’ve shopped at plenty of thrift stores that have a return policy - Goodwill being one of them. Doubt I will go back and will no longer recommend it to anyone. Sad that someone managing a shop that’s supposed to be giving back to the community treats people the way she does.

Great staff, friendly consumers too. It’s fun to look around. It’s a well stocked store with lots of variety.

To whom it may concern, when you get something that is brand new and still has the original price tag on it (on back) you put your own sticker on the front for a dollar more? How dare you. Let the buyer beware. And another thing, used brand name kitchen gadget items needing some TLC are put out with other items commanding a large price? I don’t think so. What happened to thrift? Huh? And please do not say a world Pandemic is the cause🤔it’s greed-plain and simple.

I googled local thrift stores and found this place. They were closed my first visit here so when I came back I tired again. I was able to find a couple books to read on the beach. Store very clean and store very well laid out and not over crowded with junk. Didn't find anything I needed in my size on this visit (need more XXL shirts, in my case,) very nice ladies behind the counter. Will come back again on future visits.

Lovely clothing for men and women, name brands in great condition as well as household goods ..and the money is given to help children in school. Educational programs and school supplies. I get great items and benefit kids at the same time. WIN WIN!!!

This thrift store raises money for community in schools of Brunswick county. It is well organized, clean and high quality. The price is right because they're very low. There is a small book section. The clothing selection was very nice. It is located behind food lion.

The rude greeting we received "we require everyone in the shop to wear a mask". My wife and myself both had ours on. When I informed her my son was 11, "EVERYONE" was the response. As we where leaving my son pointed out that she herself wasn't wearing one.
