Avery is PHENOMENAL! I cannot recommend her enough. She tailors training plans to each individual dog and human. She's extremely knowledgeable about dog behavior and great at explaining why a certain training approach is best in a particular scenario. I've had so much success with my dog ever since I started working with her. I would give my review more than 5 stars if I could!

I've been doing private sessions with her and also did a board & train. She sent lots of photos and updates when my dog was with her! They went on lots of fun adventures and I could tell that he really enjoyed himself. She was very diligent about letting me know if even the smallest thing was wrong such as a tiny patch of flaky skin on one of his paws. If you are considering working with Avery, absolutely go for it. She is the BEST!!

Sunflower Canine Services is phenomenal! We have a half Border Collie and half Australian Shephard mix that was so full of energy it was initially overwhelming for us (our first puppy). We had him attend a three week board and train with Avery who was able to communicate so well with him. He was seven months old when he went and I think that was the perfect age. I am so grateful that we budgeted for his training as I think it is essential for new furry additions to the family.

Our dog, Shadow, had two bad grooming experiences that left him fearful of nail trims. Avery created a scratch board for him to help get those nails shorter and assist with additional training. HOW CREATIVE! She went above and beyond and we are so grateful! She also helped us get Shadow comfortable with muzzle training and daily spreading of his paws so that in the future grooming won't be so unpleasant for him.

I appreciated Avery's communication before, during, and after the training. And I loved her videos that she posted of Shadow. It was exciting to see him progress. Avery is highly professional and a DOG WHISPPER!

She provided great reading material a few days before pick up to familiarize ourselves with the training commands and marker words. This really helped us prepare for our pick up lesson.

Avery helped with our anxious yellow lab barking at all dogs he encountered. He was impossible to take on walks. After a few visits, we can walk Ranger without our dog going nuts whenever he sees another dog. Avery gave us some great tools and tracing to make this happen.
