The estate was a wonderful backdrop for our winter wedding! We were able to host our entire wedding party for a long weekend, using the kitchen to prepare food for the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. The Stoneleigh team was wonderful to work with and really helped make the weekend special and alleviated a lot of stress normally associated with a wedding. Highly recommend!

My large family enjoyed being at Stoneleigh very much for our family get together. The historic house was an amazing dramatic setting and the accommodations for everyone were excellent. Everything was beautiful, perfectly clean and luxurious. The kitchen was well fitted out for all our needs and we were able to dine elegantly or casually as we saw fit. On top of a grand scene inside, the grounds only enhanced our time for outside fun and quiet time. It was the perfect place for our special time.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful weekend of memory making at Stoneleigh. Family members from 1-82 each had a lovely time and we had plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing. The grounds as well as the house are stunning. Fantastically well stocked kitchen where we were able to prepare great meals. Cannot wait for the next time to enjoy this space!!

The property is set in the mountains of Virginia, and is convenient to Martinsville. The kitchen is perfect for large families or for preparation for events. Plenty of space to spread out. The grounds are picturesque and provide a wonderful backdrop. The custodian is responsive to anything that might come up. Highly recommend this event space or for an escape from the city.

Great location for a magnificent estate. Lots of bedrooms with all but one having their own full bathroom. More space than any one family needs. Spacious grounds with beautiful garden areas. Lengthy private driveway. Pool table, office/library, theater room, and a large kitchen with butler pantry that houses several wine chillers. There are plenty of shopping options nearby. Must be seen in person to appreciate, and it's very affordable. It was home to our wedding on August 12th, and we've already discussed our next visit back. Simply loved it!

This was perfect for our large family including 7 family units with children. It is also fascinating. There were a few glitches with electricity and water which weren't enough to call the caretaker but for a house this old I was impressed at how well kept up it is. It was 95 degrees outside and we were comfortable inside. It is quiet in that if people are making noise in part of the house you really don't hear it.

Just can't say enough good about this weekend. A marvelous wedding for daughter and son-in-law, facility was awesome, wedding planner was on top of everything, and DJ was over the moon good. Everyone in attendance had a great time celebrating with the bride and groom.
