Southern Kennel is a great environment for your fur babies. Lisa has a wonderful clean & fun space for your animals. They also offer top of the line grooming services.

I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at Southern Kennels and Boarding, as it has left me feeling quite heartbroken. I brought my beloved Golden Doodle in for a haircut, and I’ve always felt reassured by the young lady who has groomed him during my last two visits. She has done such a fantastic job in the past, so I was genuinely looking forward to seeing her again.

However, during my most recent visit, there was something that felt off. At first, I thought it might just be my anxiety, but when I finally saw my dog, my heart sank. I couldn’t hold back my tears as I exclaimed, "Oh my God." It’s idisheartening when our expectations aren’t met, especially regarding our pets. She ended up cutting all of his hair very short and even mentioned that he was matted and had a pimple in his ear, which really troubled me. He wasn't matted nor did he have a pimple. Poor Marco couldn’t sleep last night; he was restless, pacing around and shaking his ears. It’s tough to see him in discomfort.
