Stuart is great. He trained our lab mix that mostly lacked confidence in herself. She knew her commands well after 3 weeks, and it was at that point that Stuart spent some time with us showing us how to continue working with her. He has also made himself available for questions and answers after she came home that came up later. I would not hesitate to use him again and trust what he has to say and recommend for training your dog

Great experience!

My husband and I chose Southeast Off Leash because we were specifically looking for a board and train program, and we liked that they offered shorter and longer boarding options. We had done a board and train program for a previous dog with some big reactivity issues, and it worked such wonders that we swore we'd only do board and train from that point forward rather than waste our money on classes or private training.

It was hard sending off Merlin because she was right around 8 months old and just so sweet! But we're so glad we did! She's done very well with come, heel, sit and place, and she has good on-leash and off-leash behaviors. Folks comment on her training and how well she listens. Of course, we're also consistent post-training in making her practice her skills, and that is important!

She also clearly loves Stuart. She's been back to board a few times, and she's always so excited to see him. He's definitely a dog lover and treats Merlin like his own! She's a sweet, eager-to-please, sensitive girl too, and it's clear that Stuart took his time to build trust with her and encourage her, rather than taking a harsh approach.

Southeast Off Leash LLC- Stuart- was amazing for our English Springer Spaniel Dog Scout. We rescued him and was not told by the previous owners just how much of an “attitude” he had until we got him home and had him for about 3 weeks. During those 3 weeks, he showed kennel aggression behavior, trust issues with people, aggression with strangers, growling for no reason and aggression toward our smaller Dog Mollie. I was ready to send him away but my husband found Stuart so we could give this sweet boy a chance. Stuart came and found out quickly what he was getting into but took on the job to make Scout better. Stuart sent us progress videos often and we saw such an amazing transformation before our eyes each video. By the time 4 weeks was up and it was going home day, we were anxious and excited to see our boy and what Stuart has accomplished with him. We were amazed at all the hard work, dedication and patience he put into our boy! Scout was a totally different dog! He does have some PTSD we believe from his previous owners that can’t be fixed unfortunately, but all around- his kennel aggression is gone, his stranger aggression is gone, he trusts us now and plays so well with our little dog Mollie. We would recommend Southeast Off Leash, Stuart, to anyone with any type of dog with aggression, anxiety or needs any type of behavioral intervention. Scout is now a loving, sweet, trusting dog that we knew he was by those sweet droopy eyes! Thank you Stuart for all you did for our Scouty boy! 10 stars across the board from the Hicks family! Highly recommend!

Stuart has been so incredibly helpful and patient with my fur baby! I’ve really appreciated that he uses equipment that doesn’t hurt the animals. I’ve noticed such a change in my dog after just one week with him. He’s really good about sending pictures and videos of your pet with updates on their progress. He’s very knowledgeable and patient with me as well and follows up with sessions to teach the pet owners. He has also taken my dog in on several occasions very last min. I can’t give Stuart enough praise! I highly recommend!

I can not say enough about how happy I am with the training provided to my Sheepadoodle, Dolly Pawton at Southeast Offleash. Stuart not only accommodated my schedule, he was able to teach Dolly tasks that I thought were impossible. Dolly is just over 1 year old and had behaviors that needed to be addressed. She now knows how follow my directions and has the best manners. She responds to my commands and loves her “place” cot. We have had her home for about 1 month and she continues to show the results of her training. I swear that pup is smiling all the time. Thank you Stuart, our girl is making you proud!
