We had our Dolly girl trained by Paul for the 6 week day training and we absolutely loved it. The schedule is Monday-Friday and it’s just like picking up and dropping your kid at school. We had a rowdy and very distracted puppy before we brought her here. Paul did an amazing job with her and she would get so, so excited to see uncle Paul when we would pull up. I highly recommend this place as he not only gave us the results we desired but his place for training is very homey. I’ve had a few experiences elsewhere with other trainers in my past but I can say this was the best experience by far. I’d go back again and again with any additional dogs we may bring in, in the future!
Definitely don’t pass up this program and this trainer. He’s very down to earth and if you respect his time, he is extremely neighborly. We enjoyed this experience so much, we choose to board our dog here with him over any “cheaper” or more “convenient” options because we know the care, exercise, stimulation and structure she will have with Paul.

We enrolled our 3yo husky rescue in Paul's 6 week board and train program and are very impressed. The holy grail of training any Siberian husky is recall: come when I call you. Wishful thinking in most huskies. But Paul worked with her patiently and consistently and got the behavior we wanted. She walks at heel, waits, sits, and obeys "bed" and "crate" without hesitation. Paul is professional, patient, and quick to answer questions or send pictures of your pup. I highly recommend SCTDBT.

Hands down the best boarding experience I’ve ever had. I was a bit taken aback by the price at first (about 20$ per day higher), but no longer. Paul’s attention to our dog was absolutely top notch. To say it was boarding is not enough. We received daily photos and updates, he spent time working with our family member as a pro trainer, integrating our pup’s activities with the others he was training. It really was a great experience for our Trigger. When we picked her up he had excellent recommendations for further positive reinforcement and development for our dogs training. I cannot recommend him highly enough. We will use his services again.

Awesome experience for us and our super attached German shepherd. Great communication from Paul before and during our dog’s stay. We were worried because of our dog’s separation anxiety, but Paul put it to ease both before and during his stay. The personal touch and attention that our pup received, is not something you would get from the boarding places in Houston. Highly recommended.

I recently boarded my two dogs at South Central Texas Dog Boarding and Training for a week, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The facility is incredibly nice and spacious, providing plenty of room for my dogs to feel comfortable and at ease.

One of the highlights was the ample outdoor time my dogs enjoyed. They went on long walks every day, which they absolutely loved. The owner was fantastic about keeping me updated with daily pictures, showing my dogs having a great time and putting my mind at ease.

When I picked up my dogs, they were freshly bathed and clearly very happy. In fact, I don’t think they wanted to leave! It was evident that the owners genuinely cared for my dogs as if they were their own.

I highly recommend South Central Texas Dog Boarding and Training to any pet owner. They provide exceptional care and a loving environment that ensures your pets are happy and well taken care of. I'll definitely be using their services again in the future!

Paul has been the most accommodating and caring business owner I've had the pleasure of working with. I work a schedule that requires me to be dropping my dog off early (before opening), and picking up days later. Paul was always grateful for communication and things were seamless.

Paul as a trainer is another 5 start review. I did the "6 week day training" for my 4 month Catahoula and couldn't believe the progress in the short amount of time. Paul aligns with being compassionate but stern with training that cannot be found easily. Some trainers are a little "too compassionate" while other trainers are "too stern."

Paul continues to earn my business of boarding with daily trainings thrown in every now and again. I would highly recommend Central Texas Dog Boarding & Training for any of your training/boarding needs.

Paul did an amazing job with both of our labs! We brought our 4 month old lab pup, Aubrey, to him first to help us crate train and learn some basic obedience, we did the 4 week overnight training. We were so impressed with how well she did with him, we decided to board our 17 month old lab Cowboy with Paul while we went on a two week vacation to help us leash train and “calm” him down a bit & we boarded Aubrey at the same time. Needless to say, it was a full success during the 14 days we boarded them together while we were gone. We will continue to board both our Labs with Paul anytime we leave town. He truly loves working with dogs and is extremely loving & patient in his training program. And the facilities and his set up is perfect!
