Our frenchie went into South Bosque Vet Clinic yesterday for nares surgery to fix his breathing. We were apprehensive about the surgery and grilled our vet, Dr. Zach Sharpe, about the risks, recovery, costs, expected outcome, etc. He was very generous with his time and discussed all facets of the procedure with us and told us exactly how it would progress. Everything went just as he had described. There were no surprises…not even the bill! The entire staff at South Bosque are pros and we feel so fortunate to have found this practice.
Meanwhile, his Royal Highness hasn’t missed a beat. You wouldn’t even know he just had surgery!

I have used the same vet clinic for 10 years for my dogs. I was hesitant about changing but I felt it was time. I met with doctor Taylor for a first visit and I loved her instantly. She cares and is considerate of the pet and the pet owner. I love the way the office is designed also. No unexpected "meetings" when you enter the door. Plenty of room to move around if needed. I wish I had made the switch sooner.

I love this place so much I don't even know where to start! My family and I have used South Bosque since I was a kid. They have ALWAYS taken such great care of my childhood animals and my current animals. At South Bosque, you're not just another number, you get that individual care that is SO important.

I've had several scares with my dog in the last year and Dr. Sharpe takes such good care of my girl. It is obvious how much he cares. He knows I'm not the richest gal in the world and he always gives me a few options money wise and then gives me his recommendation.

I had to get my dog in last minute this week and ended up having to schedule with a different doctor (which I was totally okay with, I love them all). When it came time for her appointment, Dr. Sharpe was in between patients and decided to go ahead and take care of my girl. He could have easily gotten a snack, drink, or taken a break, but he decided to use his time to care for my girl.

I have seen a number of doctors here and I've always been so pleased with any of them. If you're looking for a place that treats you like family, South Bosque is it. Thank you for all y'all do!

Dr. Covin is wonderful!! We have visited him to have a "quality of life" discussion for our elderly dog as well as welcoming a new pup into our home. He is kind, thorough in his explanations, considerate of our time as well as expenses, and truly offers caring advice and answers any questions we have. I am so grateful for his guidance and wisdom as we made decisions regarding our pets.

I love SBVC! All personnel are knowledgeable, well versed in clinic procedures, and always kind and courteous, and will always find the answers to my questions. The Veterinarians are all so caring and knowledgeable and always want a positive outcome. That is the case most of the time. When it is time to say goodbye to our pets, they all strive to make it more of a positive transition with their strength and compassion. I highly recommend this clinic and all that work there.

Definitely the care my Samantha has been receiving here for the last three years has been exceptional. Dr. Taylor is the best and truly shows that she goes the extra mile not to only listen but to research to find the best treatment. My baby suffered and injury that almost needed to get her leg amputated, but with Dr. Taylor’s treatment recommendations, she is been able to improve her let movement and soon will be back to normal. Also the her Vet Tech, Parker, does the best job ever by asking the right questions and handling Samantha. Thank you both for taking great care of her.
