I can’t thank Krystal enough for the incredible work she’s done with my dog, Troy. His behavior has improved so much since starting training, and I’m beyond grateful for the amazing job the entire team did boarding him while we were on vacation as well. They did a fantastic job with Romeo! I took him to training shortly after I adopted him from the shelter because he had a problem with jumping on guests, pulling on the leash and barking at me while I was on work calls. That's all changed now. They treat the dogs so well there and I think Romeo has a crush on Krystal! The training was worth every dime I paid for it.

We hired Aaron and his team to train our rescue dog, Canela, and they did an AMAZING job!! She used to be really reactive and fearful around other dogs. In a short period of time, she made great progress. Aaron came to our house every week to teach us how to practice with her. I highly recommend his services!

Tldr; if you are struggling with your dog- they're the ones you want to call. Quickly helped train my dog's so I could manage them on my own, and bonus points for continued support with group training offered twice weekly.

I started with Sit Means Sit in June 2023 after rescuing two litter mates that were a year old.

Before training, they were a nightmare to take anywhere. They couldn't walk on leash and often twisted around each other, while one drug me - I can't even say he took me for the walk bc I was practically stumble jogging trying to keep from face planting while the other weaved and twisted. The big boy who pulled was also terrified of jumping into the back of the car, so I'm forced to lift his 100lb self (while being disabled on top of it). The big guy effectively was a Chihuahua in a half bear body. Obviously we needed help.

All that to say, we opted to board and train the bigger dog, and train his sister alongside him for one on ones. Within 6 weeks, both were walking on leash easily, following basic commands, and (thankfully) loading themselves into the car with ease.

I've used sit means sit in Hawaii for my last two pups who've since passed, so I trusted the company- but a HUGE selling point for me was the continued support they give you through twice weekly group training.

To this day we still attend weekly sessions to maintain training and continue to fine tune their skillsets. Not all locations offer this, and I learned the hard way that training takes consistency after the initial sessions to keep intact, but life gets in the way, so the group training has been extremely helpful for us, while keeping me accountable and able to address any new issues as they come up.

The trainers really know their stuff! My crazy pup was behaving for them in under 5 minutes lol. The practices they teach you can be applied to your pups forever, I genuinely think it is 100% worth it. The staff was super friendly and very good to my Dixon. Take the home training seriously and commit to the 6 months. I wavered and then had to start over.

The Sit Means Sit training methods work. My dog graduated from a different SMS location and when we moved were blessed to be able to continue his training in Conroe. Aaron is an excellent trainer. He is patient, kind, compassionate, and accommodating. If you want a well trained dog and a good relationship with your pup, this is the place to go. I couldn’t be happier!
