This is a long review, but we are just SOOO happy with Sit Means Sit. We recommend them 1000% for doggy training!!!

My husband and I adopted Nala from a shelter in August and we soon learned that she was VERY reactive towards other dogs. We couldn’t go on walks or see a dog from afar without her freaking out barking and pulling on her leash. We realized not too long after we got her that we needed to do some sort of training for her.

I reached out to a few trainers in St. Charles and went to consultations, but it wasn’t until we had our consultation with Chase at Sit Means Sit that I felt confident that him and his team could do great work with Nala.

We finished our three day trains and lessons last Thursday 11/07 and even from her first training day we saw a difference that was night and day. Candace was Nala’s trainer during this time and we loved the work she did with her.

After her last day train, however, Nala had a few tough days and wasn’t really listening to me or my husband so I reached out to Marco about this and they set up an additional private lesson (part of Nala’s package) with Chase immediately for the next day.

I took Nala to her lesson today and Chase was able to get her right back on track. He was able to help me de-stress because he definitely knows what he is doing!

Later on today I took Nala to her first group class and even though it was a little tricky at first having so many dogs around her, Chase and Candace were with me every step of the way and were able to help me get Nala to behave and not have reactions during class. I was very nervous about bringing her to group class, but the trainers’ reassurance that she would be okay and they wound never let anything bad happen made me feel 1000 times better. Now I’m excited to keep bringing Nala to group classes and seeing how she keeps getting better as time goes by.

Again, I can’t say it enough. Sit Means Sit does amazing work and I am so happy that we decided to take Nala here 💕

Trainers are courteous, professional, and effective. In our experience, every session resulted in observable positive progress. So glad we decided to start our puppy early in training because its been incredibly helpful. Their program is worth it.

Awesome experience! My rescue dog is doing great and learning new skills. Chase knew my needs and he is helping us deliver successful results to our meatball. Very thankful we did this. Great staff, wasn't too expensive and I loved the text from marco. They gave me simple tips and tricks to help alleviate issues I was having with my dig when I wasn't meeting my goals. I do recommend them.

Chase is amazing! My dog went to another training facility before Sit means Sit and barely learned anything. From the moment I stepped into this facility I instantly had a better feeling. Chase talked to me about what goals I had for my dog and how we were going to get there. Through just the first few private lessons I already saw massive improvements in my dog. Maxo and I began training with Chase a couple weeks ago and I can definitely see his progress! I was feeling overwhelmed after my second week due to some set backs and all the staff was so caring and reassuring. They are great at explaining things and helping you understand what you should be doing as well as your dog. Everyone there has been exceptional from the beginning and continues to be!

Where do I begin? My husband and I have had large breeds over the years and the basis obedience training was sufficient for an ok behaved dog. Our most recent family addition, an English Bulldog puppy named Winston posed new challenges for us now older puppy parents. We checked out several dog trainers, but were not confident we were going to get the results we wanted. Then we met Chase and Sit Means Sit.

Chase listened to the results we wanted and assured us we could meet those goals. We signed up for the gold package for a year. The best money spent ever for dog training. We have not been disappointed, but have been amazed and elated with the results.

We are dedicated to Winston's happiness and success. We have participated in every class possible. Sit Means Sit has taught us and Winston not only the obedience basics, but how to work with distractions, get in and out of the car, waiting to go through a door, work around other dogs, and how to greet other people and dogs. We have learned how to get him to overcome fears and be more confident. Thanks to Chase and team, in less than a year Winston has passed his Canine Good Citizen test and looking forward to getting him certified as a therapy dog. As a pet parent, the team at Sit Means Sit is your best partner when it comes to training your 4 legged family member no matter what your goals are. You can expect support, encouragement and a keen focus on your goals. Your goals can be met and exceeded with your committment and Sit Means Sit as your partner!! Thank you Chase and team!

My 100 lb pitbull Mr Huckleberry has not been the same since he lost his companion two years ago. He got extremely reactive to the point where we couldn’t even go for walks anymore, I admit a lot of this was my fault. I spoiled him and let him get away with murder.. He would even snap at us. There was never an option to give up my dogs I had to find another way, and my husband found this place, and it was a prayer answered. Chase is an honest to God, dog whisperer like the real deal. My baby shark responded to him in a way I never expected. It wasn’t easy, but I got my baby back. We go for walks almost every night now I can’t tell you what that means to me a feeling that is priceless knowing my dog is safe and so am I. If you’re looking for a place to train your dog, do not take them anywhere else but here. Thank me later ❤️

Update, 2 weeks after Mr Huckleberry’s graduation we were able to take our first family vacation, all four of us. He rode so well in the car in his car seat with his sister and has behaved the best I could ask for while we explored Branson with them. This is a dog we couldn’t walk down the street before without him going ballistic.
