My bella was hard to walk always pulling or me pulling her. Did 10 day board and train and now i can walk her and she listens well. Jason did a great job training her so far still got to stay on top of it but very happy so far!! Got our furry friend from newport police dog kennel she had been abused and shes 5 1/2 years old, 6 mos ago. The sweetest dog but she was leash reactive towards other dogs but did great at training. She just wants to play but she sounds like she wants to tear thr dog up. All bak no bite lol

We took our 4-year-old Athena (pitbull mix) to Sit Means Sit. Before attending the 10-day boarding Athena was super reactive to other dogs and had a hard time walking on a leash, staying focused, and completing commands. Athena finished her boarding in Early December and we have seen a great improvement. She is way better around other dogs and on walks. She is improving in following commands and walking on a leash. She's been doing great in our one-on-one training and moving on to groups soon! The staff have been amazing. Super nice, patient, and super accommodating. Each time we've visited the facility Athena remembers the staff and gets excited to see them. Overall a great experience so far and we can't wait to continue training with Sit Means Sit.

They did a great job with Micky. He was able to be trained quickly and they were so great about updating me on his progress. The training was harder for me not having my little guy home. He was so happy when he was dropped off. I highly recommend Sit means Sit. Chris did a great job training my puppy!

Sit Means Sit has done wonders with our dog. We have a Cane Corso who can be a handful. When we were at a point of giving up, Chris talked with me on his possibilities and what a huge difference consistent training can make for us all to be a happy family. When our dog returned home, I could tell he enjoyed his training. He is a beautiful, powerful and intelligent dog that truly learned the fundamentals of his training. I strongly recommend Sit Means Sit. The trainers are loving and firm. They provide great leadership and train you and your family on how to be the best owners that your dog deserves.

We could not thank Chris enough for the care and confidence he gave our little Butters (7 month old goldendoodle)! We signed up for their board & train program & it was worth the investment. Before boarding, Butters was pulling on his leash, jumping, barking at other dogs, had separation anxiety, etc. Even after just 4 days of being home, there’s already such a positive difference in his behavior and confidence! Thank you again to Chris and everyone at Sit Means Sit! You all made it worth it!

I have a high energy German shepherd puppy that I needed help training. After extensive research, I decided to bring her to sit means sit. The whole staff is great. You can tell they love what they do. Chris was the one in charge of training my puppy. He did a great job with her. He sent me videos of the progress every other day! I brought her home today and I can already see awesome results. I definitely recommend this program

My husband and I had our 1.5yr old Golden Retriever attend two five day sessions of training at Sit Means Sit.
He finished up his second set of training at the beginning of June with Cat. Cat was absolutely amazing! She helped work on his skills that he learned from his first week of training, but also helped our dog learn how to get in the car on his own (something he would not do on his own prior to training). Cat was very thorough with her communication with my husband and I. She was always quick to answer our questions over text and did great at updating us with progress along the way, including super cute videos of our dog.
We just did our follow-up session with Cat this past week. She did an amazing job at explaining how we can best help our dog succeed in environments that he is overstimulated and uncomfortable in (such as walking at the park with a lot of activity going on around him). She is very patient and and genuine. We can tell that Cat really loves her job and cares about the dogs that she trains. 3
Not only has our dog gained an extreme amount of confidence in himself, but my husband and I have a lot more confidence in him and his abilities on walks.
We are beyond happy with our overall experience with SMS and cannot recommend them enough! Thank you for everything, J.D, Chris, Cat, and the rest of the team at Sit Means Sit!

Basically, my dog who is three years old is a very well mannered good dog with very few bad habits. With that said, she is so interested in what’s under the next bush that she ends up pulling me down the street every time I take her for a walk. She also is a flight risk. if she gets out of our house without a leash she takes off and it’s only been through people helping to catch her when they saw her coming that eliminated the risk of a car accident on the road. My daughter recommended this company after their dog had gone through training. When the trainer brought her home to me he stayed and walked my dog and I through her training and then had me walk her through what she had learned… amazing!
This investment of finances and time was a wise choice on my part … I finally have the dog I’ve always wanted and it’s only through her training that this was possible. P Pilmanis
