Sit Means Sit Dog Training is a fantastic place to take your doggie(s) for training. Not only does your dog learn, I learned as my dogg's owner. Justson Brown is knowledgeable about dog breeds, helpful with all questions that I had and still have, and Jutson is great sharing the good work with the progress made training my Belgian Malinois - Dutch Shepherd, Reno. Justson and team are amazing. I am looking forward to my month check in session to show off the training Reno and I are doing well and to talk about next steps.
Sit Means Sit Dog Training is reasonably priced, unbeatable trainer knowledge, professional, team oriented, and excellent quality. This training practice looks to build partnerships which is unbeatable as well.

Sit Means Sit was highly effective in training our dog. We worked with Blaine, who is a very kind and highly skilled trainer and did an excellent job with our pup. My primary goal with Sit Means Sit was to have 100% recall success and Blaine helped get us pretty close to that. We did the hybrid model which means Sit Means Sit trains your dog once a week for about 4 weeks and in between those weekly sessions you (the owner) are expected to train your dog based on what SMS taught your dog that week. This is a great model in some ways since it's important that the owners actually learn how to train your dog in the way SMS does. I would highly recommend SMS if you're looking for tangible results in a relatively short amount of time. They run a fantastic operation and the staff is very friendly and skilled across the board.

There are two reasons why I have a hard time giving SMS a 5-star rating. (1) It's really important to note that SMS trainers are serious pros, but in the hybrid model I think the dogs have a hard time retaining knowledge each week between SMS training sessions. We, as owners, just don't have the skills or time that the SMS trainers have to get the same results. That was our personal experience, does not mean that you will have the same experience. (2) The cost is quite high - It's worth doing a reality check on your budget. For me, I was a bit caught off guard by the price and how our budget did not get us more individual trainings.

Another positive is that SMS has a very cool lifelong refresher policy that allows you to take your dog in once a month perpetually after your dog has completed the formal training sessions that you paid for. We will definitely look to leverage that! Similarly, they also offer boarding services when/if you leave town an need to Board your dog. I believe the only offer this to previous customers. Overall, SMS is a fantastic place to get your dog trained and I would highly encourage folks to consider taking your dog here if you want good results fast.

I just completed four sessions of training with two of my dogs, and I can tell you, the experience was so much more than I expected. I worked with both Judson and Blaine, who were both incredible and had different strengths and approaches that helped me build the big picture of what kind of relationship I want to have with my dogs. They were both very responsive when I had questions and were able to modify or emphasize certain aspects of the program to meet my goals. I really can't say enough about the whole team at Sit Means Sit!!!

Everyone at Sit Means Sit South Denver was absolutely amazing with Perry and me! The patience they showed us was incredible. I highly recommend them for all your dog training needs. I have a 90-pound dog who’s wild and crazy, and I needed help to calm him down a bit. They did an awesome job getting us on the right track for success. Couldn’t be happier with the results!

Gratitude to Sit Means Sit South Denver for helping to train both Kaia (7 month bernedoodle) and us, as puppy parents. We are so pleased with the amount of growth we were able to achieve in just 4 lessons (with the ultimate 1 on 1 package).
We loved how the trainer, Bud, was able to meet us where we were at and make high level yet obtainable goals for the next lesson. We can’t wait to continue following up with refreshers and tweaks as we aim to get certified as a therapy dog when she’s old enough!

My husband I just rescued two dogs from a shelter. In just a few days you could see these very young dogs had been through something. I reached out to Sit means Sit Dog Training in Littleton and received a response from a sales person. I asked if there were any “forced” methods used to which she said she didn’t know because she “wasn’t a trainer”. The idea that it was even a possibility to me was a big red flag, so I had decided to go somewhere else. One of the trainers reached out to me and reassure me that they do not use force, only E collars. Express my concern about their sales person, not knowing what their methods were and not rolling out the fact that “force“ was used. The next day he sent me an email telling me that after reviewing my response, I was not a “good fit“ for.”Sit means Sit”

Wow. What are they hiding? Just because I question the sales person not knowing their methods and expressed concern…

I really dodged a bullet. We took all these dogs and made a commitment to keep them safe. If asking questions like this is going to upset them and have them turn away my business. What does that mean?

I had a great experience getting trained to train my dog, Malex. My trainer, Judson Brown did a fantastic job of getting to know me and my Belgian Malinois/Dutch Shepherd/German Shepherd mix. The 1st couple of sessions were great basics/e-collar training and after that I was asked what I wanted to work on. I highly recommend Sit Means Sit Dog Training - South Denver the owner, Jon and Judson. Malex and I can't wait to come back for the free refreshers. Thanks guys!

Absolutely fabulous experience with Sit Means Sit for our lab girl Daisy. She's a wonderful dog but we were really struggling to come up with/maintain training for her exuberance. We signed her up for a 2 week board and train program. She is like a different dog. She is much more relaxed as she now knows what we want from her, and now we know how to explain it to her. I can't recommend this training facility highly enough!
